Ranked #17 of 24 Tours in Paso Robles

There are now over 260 wineries in the Paso Robles valley. We are Bay Area veteran Napa Valley wine visitors, and the Paso area is up and coming. The Rhone varietals are exquisite and the wineries...from Tablas Creek to Adalaida...to new comers Booker and Taou...are making their mark. Friendly tasting rooms coupled with beautiful settings makes a weekend in the Paso area an annual visit for us.

We stayed in Cambria on the beach, and 46 drive felt like we were in Ireland.

We could not recommend a weekend getaway higher...

My husband and I live an hour outside Napa/Sonoma and have made many visits to our favorite spots. Last year we decided to take a trip down Hwy 1, visit Carmel, Big Sur and then cut in east to Paso Robles. We thought about doing the 'Sideways' tour, but decided we just wanted to know more about the Paso area. Gee Gee's tour popped up on my Google search...and were we glad it did! Paso is truly the 'other wine country'. I imagine this is what the Napa area looked like 30-40 years ago, maybe more! Gee Gee had the local knowledge, personal relationships and love of wine, to make this a most memorable 'stay-cation'. In fact, we just visited Paso for the second time about 3 weeks ago! We are in love! Thanks, Gee Gee.

My husband and I booked Paso Robles Wine Glass Tours (Gee Gee Mainini) for our first visit to Paso Robles for wine tasting. She took us to the places we might have easily missed if it weren't for her knowledge of the area wineries and the people that run them. We asked to visit the smaller wineries for a more personal experience and she did just that. She also packed us the most wonderful lunch for a picnic at a beautiful winery in the hills outside Paso. Her knowledge of the winemaking process, farming and culture of the area really helped us fall in love with the area. She even offered to drive us to our anniversary dinner in town that evening. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were presented with two bottles of wine she left for us to celebrate our anniversary. What a nice personal touch! We will definitely be back and will be recommending Gee Gee to everyone who wants a great wine-tasting experience!
