“Fantastic”
Reviewed August 12, 2014

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner to celebrate my birthday - we were in town for the weekend and wanted a relaxed yet romantic dinner. We came Sunday night around 7pm and was able to get right in. Our table was out back, off to the right. The noise level was perfect- there were many tables filled, but I could still have a private and easy conversation with my guy. They have a well thought out menu, not a ton of selections but a good variety. There was also an abundant wine list, although a handful of the wines were not available. The furnishings and decorations were lovely - blueish-gray walls with a white boarder, custom made chairs (so soft! The hostess told me the owner & son made all of the chairs by hand), crisp white table clothes and black and white pictures on the walls. It was sleek yet warm and inviting.

The food was fabulous....it came out at the perfect temperature and was absolutely scrumptious. He got the potato soup to start and fish for dinner and I had the chicken & pasta. Yummy.

The server was attentive yet relaxed. Once he found out it was my birthday, he said he would get a little something for us -- and came back with a wonderful piece of chocolate cake and a candle on top :) We are both low key people who like quality and this place was spot on. We will definitely be back.

“Fantastic restaurant very good value”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

We spent the last week going to the 'best' and most expensive restaurants in LA and this was the meal that we enjoyed the most. Beautifully cooked mahi mahi, perfect service and it's own unique atmosphere just a shame we are only passing through. Very good value for money.

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed August 7, 2014

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised at the food, service, and ambience. This is a cozy restaurant with a casual elegance (linen tablecloths, but shorts are ok!). Our party arrived at 5 pm for an early dinner and soon after the place filled up with locals. Obviously a popular place! The food was excellent and good sized portions, our waitress was friendly and attentive and the service excellent. There's a good selection of local wines to choose from that are reasonably priced. We would definitely return on our next trip to Paso. :-)

“Fatastic Dining!”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

If you want fine dining when staying in Paso Robles, Robert's is the place to dine. We had one of the best dining experiences that we have had during our travels to various parts of the country. The entree options were varied and quite reasonably priced. The coho salmon entree that we enjoyed was one of the best salmon dishes we have eaten. The wine list is extensive, with a lot of the local wines (at moderate prices) on the menu. Our dining experience was so good that we are returning there again tonight for dinner!

“Not Overly Creative Just Really Great Dining”
Reviewed August 6, 2014

Many of the items on the menu are found at other restaurants, but rarely are they prepared as well as at Robert's. We had lunch here on our way to Cayucos. That meal was so impressive we drove half an hour one evening to have dinner here and were not disappointed. It seems that everything they prepare is really good.
