We read the reviews on this restaurant before we went, and bravo to the person who recommended the Mahi Mahi. The premium wine by the glass was a treat, and not all restaurants offer this, but this one did. It enabled us to pick just the food we wanted. My husband ordered the short ribs and a merlot to go with it. What we loved is that we had the chance to taste the wine we were going to order before we approved the full pour. It was a generous pour on top of it.
The sauces that go with these meals are excellent, and what I would suggest is to start with a clean appetizer or salad to balance the richness of the entree. We will be back.

We tried Robert's on the recommendation of a local shop keeper, and are we glad we did. The prices were very reasonable, but the food was fabulous. Everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. All four of us ordered different entrees so we could sample more and none of the dishes was disappointing. I keep meaning to write them to see if they'll share the recipe for the blue cheese chipotle dressing. We still talk about that meal whenever we have soomething similar.

We had a really good meal here, thoughtful interesting food. Service was good and all of the varied local wine list was available by the glass.

I thought I'd enter a review as our experience was very different to that of the last couple of reviewers. The short ribs were served on pappardelle, veges and a thick stroganoff style sauce. Unusual and it worked. Same with all the other dishes at our table. I get bored with American standard meal items: these guys did everything we tried with a new and interesting twist.

A definite repeat.

Service was good. Wine selection and advise also good. Food quality and preparation was poor. The fish was over cooked even though requested undercooked. The rib eye was poor quality meat, Also overlooked. Called in advance for Accommodation for gluten free, when arrived poor choices. Cesar salad came w vinegar and oil without telling us first. Had 8.30 reservation on a Saturday night and were informed several times that the kitchen was closing.
