“A perfect way to drink & not drive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

Based on positive reviews here, we booked Wine Line for an all-inclusive tour in Santa Barbara in October 2013. Four of the wineries were pre-set (and the tastings fees included in our pre-paid fee) and we added on one more at our own expense. We visited Zaca Mesa, Cambria, Firestone and Riverbench as part of the package and tacked on Foxen. The total cost of our package, including lunch for 2, was $265. We were picked up bang on time outside our hotel in downtown Santa Barbara at 10:30 am and dropped off again by approx. 6:00 p.m.

Our driver was Mike and he was awesome -- as a writer of books, magazine articles, etc., he knows his stuff. He was funny and had the perfect sense of humor for us. He was flexible and easily able to accommodate the different timing needs of us, and the second couple in the van.

If we return to the area, we'll definitely book with the Wine Line again.

First time to the wine country! Our driver Eric was great and the group we went with was amazing! I recommend them and will be doing it again next year with family for our family reunion.

“We hopped on the Wine Line!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

On our first day to Paso we used The Wine Line for our driver. We had a few wineries we wanted to see and our driver gave us some suggestions also. We made all of our desired stops and more. with the hop on hop off structure it seemed as if we were on a very private and intimate tour. Not until the end do you realize that others are also riding your same van. I highly recommend The Wine Line based on its structure, price, quality, and flexibility. It was a great choice for our first day in Paso.

“Great time on the Wine Line!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

About a month before going in August, we decided on a girls weekend wine tasting in Paso. TripAdvisor suggested The Wine Line, so we did it! We stayed in Cayucos, so the option to have the driver to pick us up from there was awesome. Chris picked us up, then another small group, and he took our two groups around for the day.
He offered suggestions of wineries to check out, as we were looking for more fun, social wineries. His suggestions never disappointed. He was always driving back and forth between us and the other group, and always seemed to be there to help us take our purchases back to the van for us. We bough lunch with our package (highly recommend doing that), and it was a great, quality lunch.

End of the story.... we loved it so much that we are already planning another weekend back in the area, using The Wine Line again in February.

Thanks for the awesome girls weekend!

“An affordable way to taste without driving.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 2, 2013

My wife and I spent the labor day weekend in Paso Robles for our 3rd wedding anniversary. We were staying locally at a BnB and wanted an affordable way to hit a few wineries and really enjoy the experience without worrying about getting back in one piece. The Wine Line was a perfect choice! They pick you up, store your food in a cooler if you want, recommend wineries depending on your tastes(we already researched a 5 ones we wanted to go to but Chris said one was crowded and said we should try one of the smaller ones instead) and take you to each one by one. They walk you into the winery, introduce you to one of the tasting staff and then check in on you in about 45 mins to see if you want to go to your next winery, if not, the come back when you are ready. We ended up hitting all 5 wineries, with time left over if we had wanted to go to another one. If you want an affordable and safe way to taste the wines of Paso Robles, then the Wine Line is the way to go!
