Today while passing through Paso Robles, my husband and I stopped for lunch at THO! What a hidden gem! I'm not sure what several other TA reviewers experienced, but our service was great! Everyone associated with the restaurant was pleasant, efficient, and cordial. The menu is a tasting treat. There are about five options of appetizers, five options of sandwiches, and five options for "Sunday brunch" items. There was also an extensive wine menu.

We split two items: fresh toasted pita bread with whipped lemon yogurt and toasted dukkah seeds with coconut, and an excellent lean burger impregnated with fabulous flavors served with a lovely fresh green salad and quinoa. Our cost was just over $30 excluding tip.

The restaurant is unique in that there are three separate dining areas. It appears that this small restaurant may have grown over time and expanded into nearby store areas. Be aware that the location of the restaurant is a bit hidden, so make sure you have the address or you could miss it. An easy way to enter is through several adjacent stores.

A great restaurant serving the freshest, local ingredients - just as advertised. I'm glad we stopped!

Family of three on a Sunday night without a reservation. Pretty good sized place but much is in a covered patio with heat lamps. Decorated in a simple "in the kitchen" decor. Perfect volume for good conversation after hitting wine tasting rooms. Service was above average but unassuming. Wine list provided plenty of options including by the glass and overall can't go wrong (better not when you are in Paso). Great looking menu but our appetizer was a disappointment with the Tataki tuna being more cooked through than seared. Beginning to worry the meal was headed down the mediocre path we were all pleasantly surprised by the entrées. Both the sea bass and the hanger steak made us very happy, turning the whole experience around. So, go there with confidence. Avoid the tuna and don't miss the steak. We will definitely be back.

We ate here on NYE before heading to an event. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. While the ambience doesn't quite match up to the fabulousness of the food, we still enjoyed our experience.
