“Great Food”

We ate here on NYE before heading to an event. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. While the ambience doesn't quite match up to the fabulousness of the food, we still enjoyed our experience.

“Magical Blend Of Flavors”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

For those of you who do not know Julie Simon is an extremely talented chef. She is about 25 years of age. I fell in love with her food the first time that I went to Thomas Hill Organics a few years ago. I and my wife have been fortunate enough to go to Paso Robles two or three time a year. Each time we go to THO two or three times. There truely is something magical about the flavors that Julie puts together. They never fight with each other. They always allow the natural ingrediants speak for themselves. And BOY do they ever! This trip Friday January 11th, Sunday Jan 13th we had some of these following dishes:
Pizza- "Julie, mozzarella, braised pork, asparagus, roasted squash, brussel sprouts, Pecorino Di Grotta, spicey Chile Verde Sauce, and finally Basil. There was a harmony to the marriage of all these flavors. You could tell the quality of each and actually taste each.
Pizza- Saporita, Tomato sauce, Pine Nuts, Feta, Olive Tapenade, Fresh Spicy Cayenne, and basil. Again great balance of the way the flavors worked together.
Vegetable Panang Curry, Baby Broccoli, Roasted Kabocha Squash and Sweet Potato with Purple Rice. This definitely ahd a Thai style to it. The curry was delicious and very mild. It was not like an Indian curry. I love Indian curry but that would have been much heavier.
When I look at the menu I always say, "if it sounds good, it WILL be".
Julie has a n amazing touch to blend flavors perfectly.
They have a great wine list to go with these dishes.
For lunch on the Friday we had the hamburger which was cooked exactly the way my wife ordered. It had flavors blended throughout the patty. Not just on top.
I had the Vietnamese Pork Belly sandwhich. Carrot Sambal, Cilantro, Avocado and Garlic Aoili. It was absolutely scrumptiously delicious.
This is a "MUST" go to if you are even close. You will not be dissappointed.
One thing I want to add, some restaurants have one or two dishes that are very good. This restaurant has almost EVERY dish spectacular. The only reason I say almost is because I have not yet had the pleasure of having every dish.
Tell them George from Los Angeles sent you.

“Delicious and fresh as advertised, non-intrusive service”
Reviewed January 12, 2013

First of all thank you to the hard working staff of Thomas Hill Organics for being open on Christmas Eve for tourists who have no family in Paso Robles. The La Quinta Inn in Paso Robles recommended and helped us get a reservation here and their choice did not disappoint. The menu was small but fresh -- I had a fish fillet meal. The courtyard setting for the restaurant and heater lamps added to the atmosphere. The server seemed to know exactly when to arrive and inquire on the meal or whether we wanted coffee. I think this was exceptional considering how busy Christmas Eve was (one of the few restaurants open on that day) and probably that the staff wanted to be home with their families.
