My husband and I went to this beautiful B & B for our 30th anniversary and all we can say is WOW! The views are panoramic and our room immaculate and cozy. Most of all our hosts, Dave and Karina were fanatastic! Not only were they extremely helpful in helping us navigate the wonderful wineries in Paso Robles but both mornings we awoke to an amazing breakfast, creative and cooked to perfection! Honestly, we have nothing but rave reviews for Seven Quails!

Thanks for the kind words of encouragement. We both love to cook and perverse as this may sound, if we didn’t have another outlet to relieve our desire to cook, we would both struggle with waist line problems. So people who love to eat are our kind of folks. They help us keep our weight down. Thanks again for visiting. Our doctors also thank you!

This B&B is #1 for a reason. It is really that good. The view from our room, spanning 180 degrees from a hill-top vantage can only be described as "indescribable". It is almost too splendid; then at dawn, since the view was eastward, the colors embellished even that of the hills and vineyards of California's Tuscany. We can discuss the hospitalty, food, room; it's all number one.

Room Tip: We loved the "Room with a View".

Thank you for your gracious response. Your visit was a two way street: we learned a bit about Merry ‘Ol England from your husband, got an introduction to computer graphics courtesy of your son’s achievements (and his web site), and were infused with a bit of Arkansas common sense. Thanks for visiting. We do hope to meet you again.

We chose this small B&B because of its location, room views and the Trip Advisor reviews. Any place that consistently gets 5 stars gets my business and these innkeepers did not disappoint. My husband and I enjoy good food and wine and we really appreciated both at this beautiful vineyard. What a treat to enjoy luxurious accommodations, gracious hosts, a great local (on-site!) wine and truly memorable breakfasts. Quiet, private and yes a very personal experience made this a definite go-to again location. Get the "room with a view", it is exquisite.

Room Tip: Room with a view is incredibe.

Likes good food and wine; our kind of people. The readers of these review responses may come to the conclusion that this place called Seven Quails is an extension of the innkeepers personalities – and it is. So we are so happy when everything “clicks” as it’s a reflection on what we try to provide, satisfaction for our guests.
these compliments are kind of like applause to actors only more lasting since the overall experience usually runs more than a few hours. So thank you again for the words of encouragement. We hope to be able to offer you a repeat engagement.

My wife and I just returned from a perfect stay at Seven Quails. Dave and Karina are great hosts who attend to every detail and made us feel at home instantly - we arrived early and our room was not yet ready, but Dave insisted that we unload our luggage anyway- only to find out that he was moving us to the room with a view (sunny-side up) We settled right in, after marveling over the view of the vineyards below and the mountain views in the distance. Breakfast was always delicious, wine was great and hospitality warm and inviting. We will return - Seven Quails is the perfect place to stay in Paso!

My wife and I just finished a wonderful stay at Seven Quails. It was our first trip to the Paso Robles area. We came primarily to see a good friend that lives in the area and, since we were there, to sample the wines from the surrounding vineyards. Not knowing where to stay, we turned to TripAdvisor and went with the number one rated B&B - good call. We could not have been more happy with the experience. The B&B is located just outside the city of Paso Robles in the middle of vineyeards that surround the house. It was very peaceful and tranquil. My wife and I had an outstanding time here. We stayed in the "Room with a View", which is very aptly named. It was truly charming and much more comfortable than any hotel suite that we could have found. Our hosts, Dave and Karina, treated us like long-time friends. They even regarded our local friend as a guest and allowed him to join us for their exquisite wine-tasting and provided him with coffee the mornings we were there. Dave makes a great zin and we bought a few bottles to bring back home. The breakfasts we had were delicious and not the standard "bacon and eggs" fare. We shared the mornings with hummingbirds and a rabbit or two (see photos). My wife and I really appreciated all the hospitality that Dave and Karina provided us, as well as our good friend. We departed with many fantastic memories, as well as some great wine. This B&B is truly worthwhile and deserving of all the great reviews. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Paso Robles.

Glad you were happy with your stay at Seven Quails. You might be interested in knowing that your judgment of our wine is right in line with the folks 2012 Women’s International Wine Competition in Santa Rosa, California. At the time of your visit we hadn’t received word that Dave’s Garage Wine had just won a Silver Medal at this event. Incidentally, not know by us before the Santa Rosa event is the fact that 80% of the wine in this country is purchased by women. Conversely 80% is drunk by men. Figures.
So your words have given us pause to consider subtitling the next release of DGW “Paso Robles Bliss”. However, we have do a bit more tasting of it before we do. It’s got to live up to its name. Rest assured that we do our best to insure the B&B part of Seven Quails does remain Paso Robles’ Bliss.

I can not say enough about our experience at Seven Quails. I am just sad we only had one night. Dave and Karina are such amazing people and are truly made for owning a bed and breakfast. They were genuinely sweet and caring people. The room and view was top notch. They did not leave one stone unturned. Class Class Class. Please do not spend forever searching for a B&B, just book this place and I guarantee you will not be let down. It is well worth every penny. PS Dave is also a great winemaker. We enjoyed his garage blend. :-) Can't wait to go back.

You may read all these positive comments and wonder "Too good to be true?" but the reviews are dead on. Gourmet breakfasts, breathtaking views, warm hospitality with impressive attention to detail...my husband and I could not have asked for anything more. Thanks to Dave and Karina for a memorable stay. We hope to return soon!

Thanks for the kind comments and for the photos. For those reading this response and wondering what the green netting over the vines is for, well it is to keep our birdie friends from eating the fruits of mother nature’s (and our) labor. The other picture is an example of Karina’s freshly made low cal (you bet!) fruit crisp served with crème fresh. Foodies don’t go away hungry. As they say: “This is a good place for a diet; This is a bad place for a diet.”
