Love the food and the service is great. The restuarant also has an enclosed area where you can eat al fresco but with heaters. :-)

On our driving trip to San Francisco, we spent a night in charming town of Paso Robles, about 3-4 hour drive from Los Angeles. Overnight at Marriott property and was recommended by hotel staff for good breakfast at Touch of Paso. It is located, just off historic part of route 101 in a old converted house with easy parking. It was clean and bright inside, friendly greeted by gentleman who turned out to be the son of original owner. The service was prompt and it definitely had a feel of local's favorite, many who entered were greeted by their first name and ordered their " usual ".
Our waitress obviously was a family member who referred to gentleman who seated and chatted with us as her uncle! The food was delirious, especially their biscuits and gravy, you could have made a meal out of it alone! Not too many places in Los Angeles serves such comfort foods anymore, it's fusion crazy, no matter where you go!
It was a nice start for our trip northward, it was like breakfast at friend's house!

When you walk in & see so many locals, you know it's going to be good. Service friendly, and prompt. Home made bread, soups, fresh pies and cakes....everything was excellent!
Our omelets were large and generous (try the Touch of Paso omelette). Lunches have a daily special, as well. Don't leave without trying the chocolate cream pie!

Food was plain and not tasty. You can do much better at home. Location has a lot to offer but restaurant is not delivering on food, service or value. We were seated on Patio with only the kitchen help eating out there. Service slow. Many places in Paso that are better for breakfast and lunch.
