“Great find!”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

I was with my family in Pasadena for a day looking for a place to eat. Based on some of the reviews on Tripadvisor, we selected Tibet Nepal House. It was great. We ordered the vegetable momos to start. Very tasty. We each had a soup; mulligatawny, lentil and vegetable. The soups were all good but the vegetable was the best. The vegetables looked so good we didn't order other things - green beans with garlic, sauteed spinach and baby eggplant in a peanut sauce. All incredibly delicious. Would go back in a heartbeat.

“Great Sauce”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

Love the creamy curry sauce and the history and loire that accompanies the food. The bathroom is shared with another restaurant and one needs a key to go out in the hall and get to it. The history of the Sherpa and Mt Sagarmatha make any dish sacred and lovely.

“Definitely worth a visit”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

We found the menu in our hotel and being lovers of indian food, decided to give this place a try. It was Saturday night so most tables were full but we were lucky enough to get one. The service is friendly and attentive. The menu has lots of items we hadn't had before including the momos. The lamb and jumbo shrimp in himalayan spices were gorgeous and went very well with the daal, garlic naan and basmati rice. The wine list is great and prices very reasonable for the quality of the food and the size of the portions. Padadena is very lucky to have this place. Highly recommended.

“If You Love Indian, Try This”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

I have eaten here many times, and always come for the lunch buffet, now at $8.99. I have never ordered off the menu. The buffet has about six or eight items plus soup and salad and sauces and it is excellent. I love Indian food and this is a better version of Indian. It is less oily, creamy, fatty. Many of the dishes have names similar to those you would find in an Indian restaurant even though the restaurant name implies it has Tibetan food. I don't know what Tibetan food would be. The atmosphere is very pleasant. There is some chanting music playing in the background. The servers are very pleasant as well, unlike some other Indian restaurants I have been to. I always park in the public parking garage on Raymond about a half a block north of Holly on the left. It is free for 90 minutes.

“Wow!”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

I was very surprised how good this place was. I had their chicken soup and it came out with a whitish broth that was amazingly delicious. Their curries taste so fresh. Can't wait to go here again!
