My now husband and I had our first date here (he new the food was good). We go back often. You will never find a better Pad Thai, and the barbeque beef is a fav of ours too. Always resonably priced with no frills service. Food comes out fast to so it is kid friendly as well.

Saladang is consistently good. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of food.

The sizzling beef and spinach, pad thai or curry and the mango sticky rice dessert will not disappoint.

The service is usually very good.

I dined at the Saladang Song for lunch for the very first time today. I went with a large group, and so got to try several dishes, each one better than the last.

Thai food is one of my all time favorites, I would consider this place a nice introduction if one is new to Thai cuisine. Also good for those with more experience.

Prices were reasonable. I lost track of how much the individual dishes cost (appetizers $6-11, entrees $8-15?)

Entrees had lots of flavor and some a tiny bit of heat, but nothing too fiery. There are demarcations on the menu to let you know what is considered spicy, but I can't remember if any of the items I tried were on that list.

Here's what I sampled:
Eggplant and shrimp salad. Excellent.

Salmon (in a Thai restaurant??) in a lovely coconut curry sauce. It looks a little different, but you must at least taste it.

Soft shelled crab. I enjoyed it, but others thought they had had better. In Thailand!

Coconut shrimp. Also very good.

Pork satay. Good, but rather tame compared to other items.

Some sort of egg omelette which would have been good if that was all I tried, but was ok compared to everything else.
