I thought it was fine. Just don't sit outside, some days the alley atmosphere (cars, drinkers, garbage) interferes too much.

This is a hidden treasure... as much for the warm atmosphere and fantastic service as the wonderful menu. The place's easygoing ambience hides the rigorous attention to the menu, wine list and the superior food presentation and preparation. Well done! I'll be back.

Hats off to Kate and her husband for this charm in Pasadena. You feel like you are away at a cafe on a side street in Paris. I am treated wonderfully, whether I get coffee and a little dessert crepe, or if I get wine and the whole shebang. The service is so un-American, which is GREAT! You don't feel pressure about anything! How much money you spend, how long you sit... Finally a place like this! I have fantastic memories here and hope the best for my favorite place in Pasadena as they have had a fire in the kitchen. The menu has been limited lately because of this, but the little pizzas they are serving in place of my favorite dishes are very tasty and flavorful. I really like the duck pizza and the pear and prosciutto pizza. Also, hands down, the best dessert crepe is the mixed berry, something about the cream on top... don't know how they make that cream, but it's perfect.
