Le Reposoir is on the lake just outside of the city in the direction of Lausanne. Compared to restaurants in the city centre, Le Reposoir is very reasonably priced ( but still ridiculously expensive by UK standards ! )
The house speciality is Perch, with about half a dozen different sauces or serving options. Several types of pizza are also on the menu. I had a steak which you cook on a hot stone, and as a gimmick a paper bib is supplied to put around your neck. The bib is marked to appear as if you are wearing a collar and wastecoat !
Only one member of staff seemed to be able to speak any English, but everyone was friendly.
One thing to note though, the restaurant does not take credit or pin cards, only cash is accepted
