“Beef”
Reviewed November 7, 2013 via mobile

We had excellent beef. Ok sideorders, try the mashed potatoes with lobster. Nice wine at a fair price.

“Good Food but Loud and Slow Service”
Reviewed November 5, 2013

Overall the ambience is good, high ceilings, modern decor but the hard walls allowed the sound to bounce around the open space making it difficult to have a conversation. Could be because we sat in the bar area - not sure.

We called ahead (no reservations) and the gentlemen said they were talking some walk ins. When we got there the hostess told us they weren't taking walk ins so we went to the bar and grabbed a table. Fortunately Happy Hour just finished so we got a table relatively quickly.

Waitress took a long time to clear and clean our table, maybe 5 minutes after we sat down. Then took another 10 minutes to ask what we wanted to drink. I ordered a Jordan Cab...gone another 15 minutes, comes back and says they're out. Manager comes over and suggests a Super-tuscan and a left bank Bordeaux. I mention that getting a drink was taking forever and she apologized and said she'd comp a glass of wine. We taste, both sub-par so we order a couple of Rutheford Ranch Cabs. Another 10-15 min later the drinks show up. Fortunately my wife had the smarts to order food earlier or we'd have been there a lot longer. Food shows up about another 15 min later. Good Filets but I've had steaks of this caliber for a lot less ($50 ea.). Not complaining, they were fine but for $50 you expect decent service.

Ah, yeah, got the bill, sure enough no comp for the glass of wine. Not one to complain we paid the bill and left. On the way out had to stop in the restroom. Again, for an establishment where you're going to spend $100 a person you'd expect the bathroom to be clean but no, towels on the floor, wet pools on the countertop. Again, not complaining but pointing out that one expects more when visiting an establishment where the prices are this high.

Won't go back.

“Great for a chain”
Reviewed October 23, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

They really do an excellent job for a chain restaurant. The steaks are perfectly cooked and come out nice and hot. A bit heavy on the salt, perhaps. Sides are great and the chocolate lava cake is to die for. I have typically brought my own wine as their list is a bit young and too California heavy. They could invest in some nice champagne stems. But, altogether the food is great, the price is right for the quality, and the atmosphere is first rate.

“Almost Perfect”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Best looking Fleming's Steakhouse I've been to [since remodel]. The service was excellent. The food was almost perfect. Only complaint is portions. Table of three, two of us took waiter's recommendation and ordered the bone-in fillets. Almost $60 each. Yet when they came out, one was about 2/3 thirds the size of the other. As you can imagine, my dining companion was not happy.

Only other miss was that they were out of the first two bottles of wine we wanted to order.

Otherwise, this is one of the better Fleming's I've visited.
