“Good beers”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

Very good microbrewery. We popped in quite late and just had a couple of beers. Friendly bar staff, tasty brews. Food looked decent.

“Good food, nice atmosphere”
Reviewed February 8, 2014

I ate here on a Friday night with 3 others.

The menu is quite large and has a good mix - something for everyone.

We had 4 different starters and 4 different main courses.
All dishes were delicious!

Would def go back again.

“Nice beer, stupidly big portions, bit too loud”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

Some colleagues and I had dinner in this Gordon Biersch after work. I've been to a GB before but not this one. The service was generally good and the waiter was helpful with questions, accommodating the varying allergies, eating choices and religious restrictions at the table.
Try the taster selection of beers - you get a taster of each beer with a description (the volume amounts to about 500ml) which is helpful for choosing your next drink.
We had a selection of starters - the "legendary" garlic fries were delicious and the artichoke dip was quite nice. For the main course, I had a veggie burger with coleslaw which was nice and a little spicy.
I don't think anyone at the table was native-US, and we all left the majority of our main courses behind because we were full. The portion sizes are crazy - which is common in the US, but difficult to get through for a table of foreigners.
GB is an ok chain, but it's loud and sports-bar-y, so if you're looking for romance etc, go to the restaurant next door.

“Nice brew pub”
Reviewed December 17, 2013

Popped in during happy hour after visiting Cantor Art Center. Nice pick of small plates, perfect for a quick meal with beer. I tried the Mediterranean Nachos with a selection of beers for a great late afternoon snack. The selection included brews ranging from an IPA-like Check Pilsner to a chocolate-colored Schwarzbier and a seasonal beer. A very pleasant experience with good beer, nice food and very attentive service.

“Reunion Fun”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

GB is a great place to go for large groups, they have a fun bar area and there is just the right level of noise around so you don't feel bad having a good laugh with old friends. Great drinks and great food overall.

One disappointment at the table was the turkey sandwich - its more like a turkey burger.
