While it can be crowded, I have never had a bad meal at Evvia. The food is superb, the ambiance warm and unstuffy, and the service excellent.

“Services is awful unless you are a VC”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2004

Had reservations at 8 and we didn't sit until 8:45. Folks without reservations were passing us by the throngs dressed in monolithic blue coats and rimmed glasses. Maybe it was the $$ they were giving under the table, maybe it was just because they were more important than we were. Service was awful, but thrown together in a mish mash guise of Greek euro sophistication. The food was a joke and could be made in anyone's kitchen. I would NEVER go there again, and furthermore it turned me off to Shallow Alto. I was actually getting to like the place and was giving it a good chance.

The host(s) were incencere puppet/lapdogs to the people who mattered.
