This hotel was recommended by a client who told me it was his favourite restaurant in Palo Alto. Thinking that Greek food was essentially all grilled meat and copious feta salad, I was sceptical.
Super fresh ingredients and simple straightforward cooking to show those ingredients at their best. We got stuck into the starters (Mezethes) - the Plevrakia was fabulous (grilled lamb riblets with lemon & oregano). Good wine recos too. Together with its top-notch friendly service, this is definitely somewhere you should go if you find yourself in Palo Alto. I walked in off the street and was lucky to get a table, but I'm told booking is pretty much essential.
