Description: Sister restaurant of Kokkari, Evvia has been serving beautiful and elegant Greek cuisine since 1995. Fabulous fish, savory roasted meats, and sun-soaked vegetables are jazzed up with a spritz of lemon, a little olive oil, and herbs. There is perfection in simplicity.

It had been about 6 years since I have been to Evvia's. They are as good as I remember. The service, staff, and food are QUALITY. Parking can be difficult so allow at least 15 minutes. Try the underground lot off of Hamilton & Ramona.
The bread & olive oil are tasty, but try not to fill up. Everything on the menu is delicious. The lamb & moussaka are excellent. My favorite dessert is the homemade yogurt and honey. The have an wonderful wine list. The make great coffee. It can be a bit loud but getting a table near the window helps. For an all around quality meal and experience, Evvia's is the answer.

Got the lamb chops...best thing I have eaten in ages. Honestly - they were cooked to perfection and utterly delectable. My party also had the special fish, deboned and cooked perfectly - literally fall-apart-in-your-mouth good. For appetizers we had the 3 spreads - didn't care for the fava bean but the hummus and fish ones were good.

Second visit. Lamb was the meat of the day and was good. Halibut special was excellent, better than the whole fish. Lamb chops still the best menu item. Warm cake was a good dessert and a good size. Sunday looks to be too large even for two people. Really the best semi-fancy dining place in Palo Alto.

I absolutely love this restaurant. The staff are amazing, the food is exceptional, wine choices are plentiful, and the decor is charming. I go there any time I am in Palo Alto and would highly recommend it.

agree with others that plump cut lamb chops are tender and flavorful and excellently paired with a soft rhone wine. ate at the bar and was served expertly by a gracious but efficient bartender. much impressed by how well the restaurant ran despite having a more than full house.
