Review of Paris Baguette

This is like a Paris patisserie in name only! Although the croissants and pastries almost look like the great pastries in France, there is very little resemblance. Pastry is not flaky and thin with multiple layers like millefeuille. It is still better than many other places with offerings of the same in Palo Alto though. The other pastries although they look beautiful are not exactly like their French counterparts either. Still, a pleasant place to be!

The staff here were friendly and attentive, and there was a large selection of delicious pastries. Location is great close to many other shops, but finding parking can be difficult.

This is a nice, relaxing pastry café in the heart of Palo Alto. You grab a tray then peruse the aisles of pastries. Once you load your tray with goodies, you pay and sit down. This is a family business where lots of kids are running and yelling, but the pastries are delicious. They average about $3 per item and include croissants with all types of fillings - even Japanese-style red beans! I loved the chocolate ganache, but my kids didn't like it at all.

This is a Korean chain, and has very little to do with Paris. Except great pasteries.

It's a place to go in the afternoon or evening, with it's gaudy neon, and watch the world go by and have a delicious pastry with friends. You wander about with your tongs and pick out a few things, then hang out at the big booths and tables gabbing and messing about. If you're after that kind of spot, here's for you

No - or very minimal - alcohol.

You can do no wrong here. So many goodies to choose. Make sure you walk around and see the cold case with the torts and cakes before making your final selection. The frrsh fruit tart was lovely with fresh cream and a delightful custard. My soy cap had a foam heart on top. Nice touch. Weather was ideal, so we enjoyed it outdoors.
