The atmosphere is very clubby with fireplaces, dark wood, sports memorabilia and plush leather booths tucked into the many nooks throughout the dining room. Famous for their slow-roasted prime rib & hand-cut U.S.D.A Prime Steaks, they also offer fresh seafood, cold water lobster tail & succulent shellfish. The 23 oz. Bone-In Rib eye Steak is the "Boss' Favorite" while the Double Cut Filet Mignon runs a close second. Sundance is respected for serving the best food money can buy coupled with value & simplicity – a welcome relief for serious food & steak aficionados. The menu is supported by an award-winning wine list that features over 400 selections focusing on highly allocated Napa Valley Cabernets & Sonoma Pinot Noirs. Exceptional ratings & numerous restaurant awards rank Sundance the Steakhouse as a true dining destination.

“Above average steakhouse”
Reviewed September 18, 2013

This place is busy so make sure you book. We had a party of 6 and got a great booth table right in front of a fire - worth asking for when you are booking. Service was very good and the food was fine - standard steakhouse fare but cooked correctly and nicely tasty. In you are in town and in need of a steak then this will not disappoint.

“Great / Fantastic Steakhouse with Fabulous Service”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

We called in at the last minute on a Monday night, and were able to secure the last table available around 8:30pm. The restaurant was packed but service was attentive, pleasant and very helpful. We came in with children and the staff was very attentive to them as well. Definitely a family friendly place. The Prime Rib was stupendous, as was the filet mignon. The side order of tomatoes was uneventful, not ripe enough, but did not ruin the experience with the outstanding meats. The mud pie was good, but not stellar as the meats. Local wine selections did not disappoint at all. Kudos!!! We shall return.

“Best Steakhouse in town - Slow service”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

This is one of our favorite steak house. Unfortunately, the service today was extremely slow with only one waiter covering over 30 guests. Also, a large noisy party of 8 was seated next to us. I wish the management would keep large groups in a separate room away from parties of two or four.

“Great Prime Rib and Fun "Old School" Atmosphere”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

We had an 8:30 reservation and were seated at 8:45. While annoying we did not let that ruin our time or experience. The crusty sourdough bread was fresh and tasty. One must use restraint not to fill up on it and ruin dinner. One of us had the Strawberry Arugula Salad and one of us had the Caesar. Both were excellent. We each had the petite prime rib which was plenty huge. Our waiter was prompt kind, knowledgeable and thorough.

We liked the dark, well appointed and comfy atmosphere and it felt quite private. Overall it was a very good dining experience. We enjoyed hearing another waiter sing a lovely birthday song to a couple nearby. It was kind, surprisingly well done and not intrusive.

Parking is fine. One of us found a spot on the street and the other in the parking lot. It's nice not to be required to valet park a few feet from your car.
