I have been to Pastis on two occasions and have been impressed with all of the elements. The manager/owner Max is a consumate host. He has excellent taste in wines and is creating a world class cellar with choices at all price points. The food is superb and the service is also great. I had a simple moule fritte last night that was delicious and bountiful. My wife had the coquille and also enjoyed it immensely. For desert we shared a Tarte Tatin that was of high quality. You can save your airfare and eat in Paris at Pastis in Palo Alto!!!
