I've had lunch and dinner at Mayfield's before, but brunch is truly amazing. The menu is creative and eclectic. I had the braised lamb with grits, greens and a poached egg. It was indulgent, but light enough that I enjoyed every bite. If you have a special brunch occasion, I highly recommend this spot. You can dine outside also, but it can get chilly. I prefer the booths inside. Kids are welcome, but bring your ipads. They don't provide coloring pages or other activities. Our service was a bit slow, but the restaurant got slammed for brunch. They were kind enough to bring us out a plate of apple fritters. YUM!
If you do go for brunch, you must try the bloody marys. The mix is fresh. The best I've ever had..
Two adults, two kids, $120 for brunch...
