“What a weekend!!!”
Reviewed June 13, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

This was a weekend with all four of my daughters including my youngest, the bride-to-be! We celebrated her and me for Mother’s Day! We could not have had a better time!
As we all finally made it to the home we were greeted by our concierge who showed us everything we needed to know about this beautiful mid century modern home! After he left we explored it on our own! Each bedroom is creatively appointed with mid century decor! There is plenty of light in each bedroom! Fun bright furniture and bedding!! And, Oh! Those beds!!! They were so comfortable! I put my head on the pillow and was asleep in minutes!!! The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could possibly need! Great big refrigerator for food and beverages! There are plenty of beach towels for the pool! There are several great pool floats too!
The home is close to shopping, restaurants, and the Palm Springs Art Museum where we saw the Andy Warhol Exhibit!
It was a fabulous weekend in a great setting! Beautiful views of the mountains from the living room and pool area! You just felt so secluded!!! Your own little paradise!!
And the owner, Rodney, was so great at answering my questions in a timely manner!
You will not be disappointed staying in this great home in the Twin Palms area in Palm Springs!

“High Class Stay”
Reviewed April 3, 2018 for a stay in February 2018

We spent 3 nights in February at this property - five adults and a child - and had a really wonderful time. The photos on the website are accurate and reflect the property's beautifully maintained period style and furnishings, as well as the spacious layout and outdoor areas. The open plan of the living/dining/kitchen area make for a great space for all to hang out in, and the kitchen is outfitted with high end appliances and a strong set of cooking gear and electronics. We almost exclusively cooked in, and had no problem working in this kitchen and laying out a good spread. We made good use of the stove top, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Access to the laundry room is so helpful when jumping in and out of the pool, going for hikes, and otherwise needing to change more than normal.

The rooms, beds, bedding, and linens are high quality and made for a very comfortable stay. The bedrooms have shades but do not have blackout curtains; in case you're a light sleeper, bring some shades. Likewise, all three bedrooms and living room have great TV set ups, so it doesn't matter what room you end up in - you are taken care of. The bathrooms are spacious, but the guest bathroom oddly lacks anything beyond a standard back-of-door hook to hang up towels. You have to get a little inventive to figure out where to hang damp towels when you don't want to ruin any of the wood cabinetry. The water pressure is better in the master bath than the guest bath.

The pool (we paid extra to have it heated, since it was winter) was fantastic - big, with a nice deep end and a good supply of floats and other water toys. We didn't have a chance to try the outdoor fire pit nor the indoor fireplace, but it was a really enticing option for one of the cooler nights we were there.

The neighborhood is perfect for walking or running - lots of friendly people out with their dogs and beautiful period homes as happens in Twin Palms. Also good spots within walking distance - the Ace, Koffi, etc.

Overall, I would highly recommend the stay. Owner Rodney is very responsive and attentive and gracious about you enjoying your stay. You are getting your money's worth.

“Relaxing vacation and great place to stay”
Reviewed January 18, 2018 for a stay in November 2017

★ ★ ★ ★ ★
We were looking for the authentic Palm Springs experience and found it here. The home was immaculate with furniture that really suited the style of house and the beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we even did a full Thanksgiving Dinner. The washer/dryer was a bonus and was located in such a way as to not heat up the house. The backyard and pool were well laid out with a beautiful view and we also had a great time relaxing around the fire pit with friends and family in the evening. Even though we were fortunate to have record breaking temps the week we were there, we never had to use the AC as the nights cooled off nicely. We were even able to enjoy the ambience of the indoor fireplace once or twice. Rodney was a pleasure to work with and even after we changed our minds about heating the pool, he responded within minutes and set the pool heat remotely. Nice feature!! Thank you for the care and detail of this home. Would love to return in the future.

We just spent the long weekend at Rodney's home and it was absolutely beautiful. Lovely mix of modern and mid century furnishings, luxurious linens, a great pool and one of the best locations in PS. The house was very clean and had everything you need for a great getaway, just bring your toothbrush! We will definitely be coming back soon. Another plus is the Buzz - PS new FREE trolley that runs in a circle around town along Palm Canyon and Indian Canyon and the stop is just a short walk away.

“Perfect - Comfortable, Spacious, Great Neighborhood & Views”

This beautifully updated 1957 mid-century modern home is an architectural gem and is exquisitely furnished. The home was perfect for my family of five and had all the amenities we needed. We slept well as the beds were heavenly. We cooked and barbecued using the new appliances and outdoor grill. I highly recommend this property. It has a beautiful pool, is close to downtown, and walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. It is also on the south side of Palm Springs... so no concerns with the strong (lift your house - and your little dog too) winds we experienced last year during our visit and stay on the north side of PS. For anyone who loves clean, modern, open space - this place is for you!

“Love This House!”

This is an amazing home - comfortable, stylist, convenient, fun!

This is our 4th time renting this home. It is a combination of fantastic midcentury design and furnishings with incredible comfort (love the Tempur-Pedic mattresses!). It is very spacious - 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (both have large showers and modern fixtures). The kitchen, dining room and living room are open with doors that open to the pool area. It's incredibly private, clean and cool. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, and very close to Koffee, The Ace and wonderful hiking. Also, just a walk through the neighborhood is beautiful! If that weren't enough, the owners are some of the nicest, most accommodating people you will meet. We'll definitely be back!

We were already planning a trip to Palm Springs and decided, months ago, to spend it in a private home versus the hotel or guest house route, like we typically do. It was such a great decision. This property was clean, modern and fully equipped. We didn't need the extra bedrooms, as there was just the two of us, but the spacious kitchen/living room area and the large and private pool area were perfect for a week of total relaxation. And a great neighborhood for morning walks to see dozens of other mid-century gems! We would gladly recommend this place and look forward to staying there again (frankly, we really didn't want to give the keys back).
