We stayed in two rooms at this hotel in July 2007. Their cardkey room entry system was broken and apparently had been for several days already, so anytime you wanted to get into your room, you had to call for front desk personnel to let you in. One of our rooms had the AC on when we arrived, but the other had apparently been left to cook in the 110+ degree weather all day. We turned on the AC as soon as we arrived, but it did not cool down until about 3am, which caused a very uncomfortable night! When we mentioned this to the front desk, the woman just stared and said, "Oh". Not even an, "I'm sorry to hear that", much less some type of compensation. The breakfast (cereal, toast, etc.) was doled out by a single woman behind a counter, causing there to be quite a line. Why not just have people serve themselves, as other budget hotels do? If they want to keep track of quantities, then have the staff person stand there and watch, but not actually hand each thing to each person. Altogether, it was an unpleasant stay and we will not return.
