Pulled in not knowing anything about this Best Western, just needed a place to sleep after driving 10 hours. Great value for the night; clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and great continental breakfast. Visited the hot tub to relax before going to bed and one of staff was there to check on the grounds and he asked if we needed anything or if the hot tub needed to be adjusted – very attentive. Overall, good amenities and a nice place to sleep.

Met some friends in the desert to relax and play a round of golf. The reason we stay here is the 24hr pool. After a long day in the sun it is a great place to wind down. The weather is so hot that nights in the pool are perfect. We stay here almost every year and like the improvements they have been making. We will be back.

We stayed here for 9 days in August 2011 and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel is about 5 minutes drive from the centre of Palm Springs so you will need a car if you want to get into town but being where it is, the hotel is in a calmer area. The staff were helpful and our room was clean and cool. It contained the largest bed we have ever slept in! The pool is small but was not busy when we were there. The daily breakfast is exactly the same every day but with a choice of juices, cereals, breads, cakes and coffees is broad enough to provide variety.

The staff were helpful and don't be put off by the passenger lift - it resembles a freight lift (elevator).

We, a family of four, stayed for one night in July. The hotel is in need of a refurbishment. The guest laundry was closed with a pile of rubble in front of it, front desk staff were not very helpful. The pool was rather dirty with cockroaches running around in the pool area. At least the room was clean and relatively cheap, but we would choose a different hotel in Palm Springs next time.

I like staying close to downtown Palm Springs. Within one mile of the village. 1980's hotel with updated oversized rooms. Cont. breakfast is served poolside by fireplace. Would stay again.

Room Tip: Ask for a montain view room.

We love staying at the Best Western Inn on S Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs. The rooms with 2 Queen Beds are our favorite - lots of room, the beds are superb, the pool is open 24/7, the continental style breakfast with 2 choices of fresh fruit, boiled eggs, toast, waffles, cereals, and juices is the kind of place we come back to when its time for a weekend get away. Being so close to downtown P.S. is another bonus! We give it 4 stars!

We have just returned as a family of 4 with two teenagers from this hotel in Palm Springs and totally loved it. It was cheap, quiet, spacious and situated far enough from the main part of Palm Springs to be peaceful and secluded. You would definitely need a car. The backdrop of the mountains round the pool area was stunning. Most days we actually had the pool area to ourselves - probably because we were mad English tourists sunbathing in 110 degrees of heat !

Breakfasts were muffins, toast, waffles, cereal, fruit and tea and coffee. Perfectly adequate considering it was included in the room rate. We had 2 rooms, adjacent, but the air-conditioning unit in my kids room failed the first night. They were great however on front desk and moved them immediately to a few doors down from us. The rooms were clean, spacious and most important of all - cool !

We drove every night either into downtown Palm Springs or along the main road to Rancho Mirage or Palm Desert for shopping and eating.

We will definitely return to Palm Springs, and definitely return to this hotel.
