As usual, I stayed in the Hilton Palm Springs Resort for the PS Film Festival. It's in a great location and they give you a good deal on rates during the festival. That said, it was rather disappointing to arrive and find that we were going to live in a construction zone for eleven days. No prior notice, no discount for inconvenience which included workers constantly passing by our room and work starting at 7:30AM Mon-Sun. Our room had been redecorated and, frankly, I was not all that thrilled with the new look. Lots of plastic wood abd bad art which make it feel like a budget chain. I am looking forward to next year to see how it all turns out..

Room Tip: I'm Hilton Honors Silver so always ask for poolside on the east side so we can see the mountains...

We stayed for a couple days the Hotel was under major maintenance extremely noisy, crossing to the lobby was thru the working area with workers cursing and having uncomfortable looks at my wife, no pool. I should have received a notice or warning, basically I wasted 50,000 points for a lousy stay.

I apologize that our renovation is runnning behind schedule. While all of the rooms are fully renovated, we are still making the final touches to our landscaping and pool bar. I do hope you have another opportunity to visit us in the future, I know you will love the final product.

This is a difficult review to write. We reserved in Sept. for a late Dec. vacation and, upon arrival, were surprised to see that major renovations were underway. While our room was lovely, the lobby was ripped up, the pool closed, all landscaping had been removed, and the lovely poolside restaurant had been closed and relocated in a windowless banquet room. Ugh. And we were not paying a cut rate, either (although they didn't charge the usual $15 resort fee, of course).

I told the Rooms Manager how disappointed we were and I must say she was very responsive. She "comped" us one night and issued us credit for a two night complimentary stay for next time.

This is a nice property, with a great location and a very good staff team. We will definitely stay there again. We just had really poor timing!

Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband while he was on a business trip. The hotel was undergoing extensive renovation so it's a little difficult to accurately judge the grounds and services since most were unavailable. You can tell the property was in desperate need of a facelift because most everything was dated so I think the renovation is a good thing.
Our room had already completed its renovation, and as Diamond status we were upgraded to a suite. The room was extremely spacious and came with a king-sized bed, desk, and sectional sofabed and coffee table in the seating area. You can comfortably sleep 4 in the room. The bathroom was a nice size and the lighting was ample. The quality of construction seemed unfinished, however. There was a large cracked tile in the shower, many of the wall tiles were not flush with each other and there was a clump of grout in the corner of the shower that should have been cleaned during construction.
Our room overlooked the pool and had a huge deck that would have been perfect during spring and summer. The pool was under construction so all we heard were jackhammers and construction workers but I'm sure it will be lovely when completed.
We received breakfast vouchers during our stay and I found the breakfast to be quite good. I used the fitness center once and I would consider it only average. There are cardio machines and some free weights. However, if you are tall you will probably not like the fitness center because the ceiling is extremely low. You might not even fit on the elliptical machine, in fact.
The best part about the hotel is its prime location in Downtown Palm Springs. It's walking distance to all of the great shops and restaurants as well as the Thursday night street fair/farmers market.

We stayed during the on-going renovation. When it is complete it will be the best value and location in P.S. Within easy walking distance (2 blocks) to great restaurants and shopping. Wonderful rooms, Free shuttle service from the airport & Wi-Fi plus a great staff. A luxury accomodation at more than a fair price. Make sure to visit the Palm Springs Air Museam.

We were attending a black tie event at the convention center in palm springs and since I'm a diamond Hilton member we thought we'd stay at the Hilton two blocks away.

The hotel is under construction with areas dug up, dirst blowing through halls, workmen carrying ladders and spilling water from buckets they are carrying.

It not what I expected from a Hilton at all.

Room Tip: Wait until construction ends.

We appreciate your feedback of your recent stay at our hotel and sincerely apologize it was not the experience you were expecting from us. While we are working on improving our property for future guests, this should not compromise the stays of current guests and we are very sorry you experienced a higher level of noise and interruptions. We hope you will give us another chance in the future and experience our renovations. Thank you!
