This location is excellent - right in the middle of everything with seating that overlooks the main drag and shops below. They have a little bit of everything - ribs, burgers, pasta and excellent, excellent pizza! My husband got salad and the ribs and claimed them delicious. The couple we were with got salads and split a large pizza - the double pepperoni - which was fantastic. I got a small pizza - the chicken pesto. Everything was just delicious. We will definitely return!

About a week ago a group of business associates and I (6 of us) stopped in to have dinner at the Brickworks. We were in town for a conference that had just ended. It was a Thursday night, so the street fair was in full swing. And, Palm Springs was extremely busy as people had begun to arrive for the Coachella Music Festival. Happily for us, we were able to simply walk in and be seated immediately. We lucked into a table overlooking the street (the restaurant is on the second floor) on the outdoor balcony. The server was very friendly and didn’t seem put out that a couple of our group hadn’t yet arrived when we were seated. He took our drink orders and when the remaining people arrived, showed them to our table.

I ordered the Smoke + Fire artisan pizza, and added chicken to it. It was quite spicy without being too hot. The flavor was extraordinary and it tasted very fresh. It paired well with the Cabernet I was drinking (but, what doesn’t?). Others in the group ordered from across the whole range of menu items and seemed just as happy with their selections. We noted they had an extensive beer menu.

Perhaps it was was just that the weather was perfect and we were in a relaxed mood after the end of a long week, but both the food and setting at the Brickworks seemed to be just right. I would certainly go back anytime and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who happens to find themselves in Palm Springs.

We had a very pleasant and casual meal at Brickworks Bistro. The beef sliders were really flavorful, pizza was great and the wine selections were good. Loved to be able to sit outside and enjoy the evening.

Wanted an outdoor patio table for 5 looking over the street. The manager could not have been nicer making that happen. Food was excellent ie. Panini, crab soup, the bomb, black bean burger. Salad was fresh. Drinks ie. Sangria, wines all good. Prices were good. Wonderful time and I highly recommend the restaurant.

There's really not much to say about this restaurant that makes it a standout. It feels like a chain, the menu is chain-like, and the food is okay, just nothing about it is a standout.

We got there a little later in the dinner service and were seated in a relatively empty area, which as we had guessed, put us in one of those situations when the servers don't know whose table it was. There was some anxious glances by the host when he walked by every so often, and the bus person was the one who asked us twice if someone had taken our order. There seemed to be just not enough pressure from the team to get someone to take our order. The waitress that finally came over was apologetic and genuine and seemed motivated once things got going.

We were hungry and knew we weren't going to be wowed by food, so we ordered the basics - I had pizza, my dining partner had wings. There was nothing wrong with either of them - the pizza was fine. The bill payment process was more seamless.

The restaurant is in a busy part of town which probably picks up a lot of walk-in traffic from tourists - my guess is this is the bulk of their business. I can also see it appealing and working for families and groups that want to have drinks together and aren't too concerned about having a gourmet experience. Solid drinks, easy menu and reliable food at decent prices. This is a recipe that works for sure.
