My husband and I stayed at the Desert Riviera for an extended weekend getaway. The service was fantastic, the staff so welcoming. The location is very central, and with the bikes you can use, or the car service that you can take advantage of, everything is accessible. We can't wait to return to Palm Springs, and would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: All rooms face the pool, and are very spacious.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a quiet and relaxing evening getaway for Christmas Eve, and we found it at the Desert Riviera! I agree with the others here--the service at the Desert Riviera was great and really made our Christmas Eve extra special!

It being Christmas, there was a special breakfast buffet for the guests which we really appreciated.. and they also gave us little Christmas presents, which was really fun and thoughtful!

We loved the pool and jacuzzi, which were open 24 hours/day, and warmed to 90 F.. so you can take a dip at night! We also enjoyed the nice outdoor fire pit.

There was also an amazing DVD library, which is free for the guests to borrow from.. We borrowed a few movies to watch during our cozy getaway.

Everything at the hotel looked quite new/recently remodeled. The room was spotless, and the kitchenette was a nice bonus. The only thing I didn't like about the room was the lack of carpeting/rugs--it seemed to make the rooms a little noisier.

All in all, a great place! Hope we'll get a chance to return soon! If you're looking for a quiet, romantic getaway, this is the place to go!

My husband and I first experienced Desert Reviera in the fall of 2011. This hotel was our first introduction to Palm Springs, and my husband did quite a bit of research to find the perfect place. It did not dissapoint and we have since visited numerous times (with another trip planned for July 2014) and have declared Palm Springs one of our favorite places in the world.

The hotel is small and quiet with just the right amount of guests. There is never a fight at the pool for a seat and there are plenty of umbrellas for shade. We stay in one of the rooms with a kitchenette. The rooms and bathrooms are large and the kitchenette allows us to bring our own food and beverages. They provide plenty of kitchen supplies and outside they have a grill. If you're up for hitting the town, they offer bikes and free limo rides at night.

If you're going to Palm Springs, you must try to stay here! This place is a gem and is part of why we fell in love with this town (so much so that we got married in a nearby hotel in 2013).

Most hotels I use as a base for my activities, and ignore the standard hotel amenities. I try to jam in and see as many things as I can. This hotel to get everything out of it, you want to spend some time at. They have a beautiful relaxing courtyard with pool and bar b q and fire pit, free bikes to ride, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly Nice large rooms with kitchenettes, and an awesome welcome basket. Good breakfast place within walking distance. So my only regret, is I didn't get to use the all the hotel had to offer.

I think this was our 14th stay at the Desert Riviera. There is something for everyone: the BBQ corner (2 of them), the hot tub, the heated pool, the fruit basket, the free long distance phone, the free WI-FI, the access to a computer with Internet, and the access to a full kitchen. The unlimited knowledge of Judy, Steve, Tracy, and Misty about the restaurants, the activities, and what is happening in town is always so appreciated. They are still able to recommend new activities and new restaurants. At every stay, we have met amazing people. A gem - Always our home away from home!
