This place is quiet, private, clean, and perfectly located--the view of the mountains is spectacular! Each room has french doors that open onto the pool (no need to walk through some busy lobby or have to get to the pool by elevator). The owners, Ed and Larry, are delightful and kind and have a wealth of information about Palm Springs. Every restaurant and excursion they recommended was excellent! I won't stay anywhere else!

I can't imagine staying anywhere else BUT the Old Ranch Inn when we visit Palm Springs. On each of our visits we have enjoyed the privacy, the cleanliness, the relaxing atmosphere, and the sense of being in a small retreat. Also on each of our stays we have met wonderful people from all over the country and the world, many of whom are repeat customers like us. Larry and Ed, the innkeepers, are gracious and friendly hosts. There is a sign in the entryway which reads: "Enter as strangers; leave as friends." This has been our experience, and we strongly recommend the Old Ranch Inn if this experience is what you're looking for.

We are return guests of the Old Ranch Inn and it seems like coming home to family. On our most recent visit we encountered guests from previous visits to the Inn. It's obvious that like us, there are a lot of repeat visitors to this hidden gem and it is because of the great deal of attention that is given to the grounds, rooms and their guests.

As mentioned in prior reviews by others, Ed and Larry are the "Heart and Soul" of the inn, with Theresa being the Stealth housekeeper that is in and out without you even knowing she was there.

Looking forward to our 9th.

This is my second stay at the Old ranch Inn and I wouldnt stay anywhere else, close to downtown Palm Springs and a hidden oasis with everything you could ever need. The rooms are spottless , beautifully decorated , comfortable and the pool and setting is idilic. The best part is the wonderful welcome from Ed Larry and Theressa. It really is like visiting old friends and they are so helpful. Perfect for a relaxing break you never want to leave. Cant wait to return.

I stayed here two months ago w/my sister-in-law visiting from Chicago and then brought my husband with me for Memorial weekend. All 8 rooms over Memorial weekend were occupied by 'returning' guests! Each room is so comfortable and uniquely and tastefully decorated. The inside and outside of the rooms, patio, the entire facility is kept so clean...and Larry, Ed and Theresa are so welcoming and accomodating...you feel as if you are re-visiting old friends.

We have already made reservatios for Easter 2011!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. We had room 8 which had its own private side patio. Ed , Larry and Teresa were a joy to meet and we will remember their hospitality for years to come. The mini suites were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bottled water was given out freely whilst we relaxed by the pool and Larry was King of the Coupons when we said that we were going anywhere. I had a tear in my eye when we left as it was like leaving family. Thankyou all for a wonderful break.

Couldn't be happier with this choice in PS! Enjoyed the small hotel atmosphere. Most rooms are actually mini-suites with small kitchenette, lovely furnishings, and all are on the ground floor surrounding the attractive pool. Staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful! A true find! I'll be back!
