I was looking for the perfect place to spend time with my boyfriend, and to meet up with my grown children for the Thanksgiving holiday. The Old Ranch Inn was just that place, and I hope to spend every Thanksgiving sharing with those I love in the same way for years to come. When you enter the courtyard of the Old Ranch Inn, there is a posted sign that say's "Enter as a stranger and leave as a friend" , and that is exactly the experience we shared. This is a great place to stay to relax, and experience all that Palm Springs has to offer. Thank you Larry, Ed and staff for a wonderful time that I will remember for years.

Room Tip: All the rooms are wonderful

Having stayed at the ORI a couple of years ago, after taking an ill fated train journey from LA (yes i should have taken ed & larry's reservations about this more seriously), and realising if you needed to relax after a 7 hrs shlep on amtrak there is no better place to do it than here. The desert climate has that effect on you, it's very laid back and i can understand why a lot of the stars used to come down from vegas to put their feet up, but the real relaxation is provided by the enviroment created by Ed & Larry, returning back was like meeting up with old friends, they both have so much time for everyone and provide a wealth of information not just about local stuff but lots of other california areas as well, indeed Ed convinced us to go to Catalina island whilst here, which was great. we both love california and would always consider going out of the way to come back(if fortunate enough to return) to the ORI not just because of Palm Springs but mainly to enjoy the hospitality of these two great gentleman. My wife and I stayed at the Old Ranch Inn from 10/31/11 thru 11/5/11 and had a wonderful time. Ed and Larry made us feel right at home, made some wonderful suggestions on the Palm Springs Follies and also a Thursday night street fair in downtown Palm Springs. The Inn is very close to almost anything you could want or need. We stayed in a poolside room and it was very comfortable and we used the pool a couple of times. All in all, it was a very relaxing stay...

Such a great stay! Relaxing, clean room, quiet, other guests were delightful. Really comfortable, but elegant. Also had a great dinner, as recommended by the hoteliers and a fantastic morning coffee by the pool!

Room Tip: Ask the inn keepers...They are great at judging your needs!

Very nice quaint hotel in the heart of Palm Springs. It is in a nice quiet estate, about 500 yards from the centre and offers only a handful of rooms so it is wise to book in advance. The room I had was spacious, very clean and well appointed, with access to the pool. Larry recommended the street festival held on Thursday nights which was a very nice occasion. I don't know if breakfast is an option but regardless this was an all round great place.

My wife and I just returned from a two night stay. We have stayed in several other properties around Palm Springs but none has been as enjoyable as our stay at the Old Ranch Inn. When we arrived Larry and Ed welcomed us in as if we were family and provided an atmosphere that was both quiet and relaxing. During the day we lounged around the fantastic pool and in the evening we walked down to the main boulevard for cocktails and dinner. This really is the perfect location for anyone who wants to experience Palm Springs. The room was large and well appointed and a nice retreat for anyone who is looking to spread out ad relax. We also enjoyed a chat with Teresa who cares for the inn. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the cozy. I'd highly recommend you look here first if you're planning a trip to Palm Springs.

Having been up for 38 hours, after travelling from Adelaide, Australia, arriving at "The Old Ranch" was akin to arriving in heaven.. Welcomed by Ed and latter meeting Larry, this place is truly stellar. Lovely, spacious rooms with huge beds, arranged round a immaculate pool, just does not get better. Topped of by fantastic service, nothing is too much. Great recommendations for restaurants, accommodation elsewhere and things to do. Simply excellent. Loved the hummingbirds and the breakfast fruit. Stayed two nights, should have stayed a week. If ever we are back in Palm Springs, this will be the place we say. Stand out accommodation in two weeks in the US. We wish you the the very best for the future.

Room Tip: They are all good....
