My husband and I stayed at the Old Ranch Inn during the first part of June and really what comes to mind is WOW. I love to find new treasured places to stay and I have pretty strict criteria but this place fit the bill perfectly. Small, quiet, beautifully decorated, comfortable, relaxed, lovely pool.... it had it all. Your hosts Ed and Larry are wonderful. Honestly I felt as if I was a guest in a good friends home rather then a hotel. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!!!

Very relaxing stay. This is a small, boutique inn and was just perfect for what we wanted. It's three blocks parallel to the center of downtown Palm Springs with all the shops and restaurants. As our stay was to be all about eating, strolling and relaxing we appreciated the list of recommended restaurants (compiled from past guests' recommendations) and the pamphlet of what was going on that week/month in Palm Springs. It is so nice to just sit around the pool and read or swim, relax out in your own semi-private patio and not be bothered by noise or people scurrying everywhere. We stayed in number 8 - the end unit - and most of the rooms (there are only 8, I believe) have their french doors open right out to the pool. We've been vacationing in Palm Springs for 4 years now between May and July and this is now our go-to place. Just lovely - we can't wait to go back.

My solo trip to my first internet picked small hotel/inn. Having always traveled with chain hotel accomodations, I was not prepared for the experience of this marvelous Inn. It is even better than the photos make it appear. The Innkeepers are so right with the sign they have as you exit - "Enter as a stranger. Leave as a Friend"

If you are in Palm Springs you MUST try and stay here. Peaceful. Well kept. You will be spoiled by Theresa, the best "care giver" in the West. Your room will be meticulously cleaned every day and her smile is fabulous.

Room Tip: Look at the virtual tour online and see the rooms!

We picked it because of the amenities, especially the free airport pickup. We loved the room, comfy bed and nice furnishings and it was heaven to sit by the pool each afternoon, under the orange trees. The hosts are wonderful - friendly, helpful with information and intent on making every person's stay one of their best memories. The inn is so close to downtown, we didn't need a car for days. It was perfect and we can't wait to go back!

We booked our stay based on the reviews on tripadvisor and we were not disapointed. we were first welcomed by Larry and immediatly made at home. we had room # 1 that even though it is on the street side of the property is very quiet. the room is very clean and the bed was just as comfortable. and pool was relaxing. if your looking for a small quiet place this is it. walking distance to the blvd.
