One of the most popular restaurants in Palm Springs! It’s a place to see and be seen, always packed with a cool, hip, good-looking crowd, but everyone’s warm and friendly. Fine-dining setting with a cozy, relaxing atmosphere: perfect for an intimate rendez-vous or casual dinner with good friends! The service is always impeccable, from the host to the wait staff. And the food is guaranteed to be expertly prepared and stylishly presented.

We came here one night last week to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The place: extra festive with all the holiday decorations. The crowd: a merry mix of locals and out-of-town visitors. The food: Chicken Lettuce Wrap (sautéed chicken with water chestnut, to be wrapped in fresh lettuce leaves and dipped in a sweet & spicy plum vinaigrette, $13), Orange Peel Shrimp (stir-fried shrimps with orange peels, ginger and garlic, served with steamed broccoli, $20), Ponzu Salmon (salmon in citrus ponzu sauce, served with steamed bok choy, $19). Everything’s excellent, but we especially enjoyed the salmon: seared to perfection, slightly caramelized on outside, tender and succulent inside, paired gorgeously with the tangy ponzu sauce (soy, rice wine vinegar, pickled ginger, lemon zest) - so simple yet so delicious! If only we can create dishes like this at home (sigh!). Highly recommended.

The first time we went here we thought it was mostly a bar. The bar is wonderful but, don't be fooled for the restaurant is one of the best in town.
An excellent choice for drinks, food and atmosphere.

Wang’s is a favorite of ours in that their drinks prices at happy hour plus a ‘tapas/dim sum’ menu make for an inexpensive meal experience. We went for dinner with another couple and sat in the “outdoor” area. Our server, D---d, got us drinks and took our order, no problems. In fact the food was tasty and plentiful and the service was good. We decided to have another round of drinks after finishing our food but our waiter was nowhere to be seen. After we had waited for a while, my spouse went looking for him, located him, and shortly thereafter he came and looked after our drink order. We tipped 15% before taxes and paid him cash saying keep the change. Our waiter came back saying, “there’s x dollars change here.” When I said, “keep it”, he grimaced and left without another word.

Wang’s food is tasty, the atmosphere is relaxing, and their short tapas style bar menu has some very good items such as the barbecue beef skewers. We’ll likely return, but we hope to have a different server.

We ate here twice this trip. Both dinner. It gets busy and that speaks for the food and prices. The first night was a Cesar Salad and combo Small Plate. We split both and although nothing to rave about both were good so we planned a return visit. The second evening we had Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef, and both were very good and as with all Chinese food, we had some to take back for breakfast...lol.
Will we go back.... YES!

It's tough to get good Asian food in the desert - but not at Wang's. Everything we've ordered (we're vegans) has been pitch-perfect. Our servers accommodate minor changes that make the dish vegan - how lovely. If you don't like a wee bit of a roar of the crowd, try going early in the evening, and avoid Friday nights.
