I dont even know where to begin...this weekend started off AWFUL by checking into the crapeiest, oldest and worst experiencing HILTON ever! We were ready to go home when we found the quaint little Andrea's Hotel and Spa. We called and check for availabilty and spoke to the most caring, and wonderful night manager named BOB! He is the greatest! He offered to show us the rooms, we went to see them and the hotel was amazing. It was like you were swept away back in time and put into a novel. This hotel trully is a little oasis away from everything. It is the best place to go, for some qiuet, romantic getaway from the hussle and bussle of everyday life. Bob immediatly made us feel comfortable, and welcome at the hotel. We stayed in the King Bed, Suite with a jazzucci tub. Bob brought us 2 glasses so we can enjoy our champange, he wiped down the patio furniture on the balcony and lit the fireplace for uus to enjoy. There are NO pool hours, no association fees, no parking fees! We were able to enjoy a midnight dip in the pool and spa and had it all to ourselves! The parking was free to come and go as you please, and if you need anything..just ASK BOB or the front desk! We needed a grocery store for a few personal items they gave us directions, we wanted to know what the best cocktail lounge and steak dinner was locally to go to and they gladly offered amazing recomendations. The spa part of the hotel looked amazing as well, even though we didnt use it. We will definitely be coming back here time and time again! We have already booked for Mother's day! LOVE THIS HOTEL!!!

What we loved: great location for walking around Palm Springs. Right in town but once you're inside, it is calm and peaceful. Loved the building....with a pool in the middle. We had a room on the second floor (true about luggage carrying, but they offer to help). It has palm trees and flowers and you can sunbathe and cool out all day. The room was small but very nicely furnished. Bath area has no door (don't worry, toilet does) and a giant spa tub with separate shower. We were with our teenage daughter and felt comfortable with her hanging out. Staff was pleasant (they had to check to make sure the room was ready, but it was: when you arrive earlier than check in time, you have to expect that the room may not be ready. Breakfast basic but fine.....my husband remarked that the clientele was very varied: from the US and abroad, older and younger, couples and families. Everyone was pleasantly friendly but not overly. We had a lovely time. By the way, laptops worked best outside or near the office. Good value....

My husband and I have just returned from a very relaxing, romantic getaway! We have chosen The Andreas Hotel & Spa for the past 2 years, over ANY OTHER 5 STAR COMMECIAL RESORT, for it's unique quality of making EVERYONE feel like V.I.P.!
The staff is warm and extremely accomodating. They go out of their way to make YOU feel that you are a special guest at a TOP KNOTCH resort! Geoffrey recommended and reserved a very romantic dinner WITH PRIME SEATING in a private balcony at THE FALLS!!! IT WAS one of the most memorable evenings of our lives!
We also indulged ourselves at the Spa. Merril greeted us with a warm smile that matched her warm heart! THE SPA WAS FANTASTIC! the champagne, strawberries & chocolate were just one of the many fine touches that this gem of a hotel had to offer. Every morning we were greeted BY NAME as we shared in a continental breakfast!
This jewel of a hotel is a delight for any couple wishing to escape for a romantic getaway. The staff has always been friendly and accomodating! The outstanding guest service and the location of the property is unbeatable! One more thing.. EVERYTHING IS WALKING DISTANCE from this hotel.. IT IS GORGEOUS and we are already booking our next escape! We feel like celebrities everytime we go here because the staff makes us feel so special!! Yes... It's that great!!!! You don't find guest service that great anywhere anymore...

We had 2 nights booked, arrived at 2, where the room wasnt ready, got back at 3.30 just took 1 look at the room and left immediately ! The reception staff got pretty upset and quite rude, and didnt want to refund us, so still had to pay for the 1st night, even though we never checked in.
Rooms are tiny ! Dark, no space for full size luggage, one tiny window !
No internet in rooms.
Have never seen smaller pool than this one - a kiddy pool !
Wish I had taken pictures of room and pool, just to warn other people off....
Went to the Hyatt instead and had a great room for 2 nights and was worth the cost (including the refused refund of this hotel!)

My wife and stayed here on 4-10 to 4-12 (Easter weekend) and had a wonderful time. Lets start with the "less then perfect" and get that out of the way.

1) No elevators. If you have an upstairs room, you are taking stairs. Wasn't an issue for us, but if you have problem with stairs you'll want to let the hotel know when you book.

2) If you are booking a room facing the main drag, be warned- the balcony doors are not sound proof by any means. They DO reduce the noise quite a bit, but you will hear the partiers until 1-2 am. BUT, after that, it's dead quiet. Again not an issue for us, we knew that we were going to PS at spring break and expected a rowdy crowd.

3) No high speed internet available in the rooms- BUT is available in the lobby.

OK- that being said, this is just a great hotel. The rooms are large, clean, very nicely appointed and comfortable. Our room had an electric fireplace, two very cozy chairs and a huge ottoman. The king size bed is very comfortable. A/C and heat worked fine. A small issue I should mention here, the TV is standard cable only. No PPV, HBO, and premier channels. But really, if you're in Palm Springs, in this hotel, and you want to watch PPV, well...

The bathroom is HUGE. The two person jacuzzi tub and walk in shower was clean and well maintained. Lots of nice tile work and finishes. Even the soaps, shampoos, body cleansers and lotions Andres uses are nicer than other hotels.

Front staff is very helpful, friendly, and professional. You're made to feel welcome as soon as you walk in. A continental breakfast is served in a smallish, but very nice lobby area. Even on the weekend, there wasn't any table shortage. And very good coffee available all day.

The grounds are well kept and very beautiful. A very Tuscan feel. Pool and jacuzzi are clean, lounges are in good shape. On the second floor there are outdoor fireplaces that you can sit or lounge by and relax in the evening.

We did not try out the spa, but if they are anything like the hotel staff, expect a great time.

So, overall, we would absolutely return to the Andreas in a heartbeat. It was a great room, and wonderful experience at a very reasonable price.

Myself and my girlfriend had the luxury of staying at the Andreas in Palm Springs. After checking in, Geoffrey gave us a tour of the grounds before walking us to the room. Here he showed us all the features of our room. Our impression of the tour was that this was a smaller hotel that gives you a very private feeling. The grounds are extremely well kept and the spa is amazing. The Andreas is also located in a pefect location. The main strip of Palm Springs is within steps of the Andreas. We were able to walk to lunch and dinner every day, without once moving our vehicle. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this is definately your hotel. You will not be dissapointed. Geoffrey and Merryl, thank you very much for your great service.

We stumbled upon the Andreas Hotel and are we ever happy we did! We spent a week celebrating our 20th Anniversary here and couldn't have felt more comfortable, pampered, and relaxed. The staff was phenomenal -- especially Bob -- they all went out of their way to make our stay special. The whole property is immaculate. The breakfast was delicious and healthy and there was always fresh, organic coffee and teas available. We loved it that the pool and jacuzzi were 24 hrs and there are outdoor fireplaces and plenty of lounge chairs and quiet nooks. The spa is fabulous and we greatly enjoyed the couple's massage. Our room was beautiful and intimate and very quiet. We never saw anyone come and clean, but our room was always spotless when we'd come back! We cannot recommend Andreas more highly! (And the location is great -- out the back door and you're downtown!) We can't wait to come back.
