Top-notch rooms, amenities, staff and spa in a beautiful setting! I love that this little jewel is not a super-sized box cutter type hotel. This was the best part of our stay in Palm Springs. We can't wait to go back!

Everything in Palm Springs is a trade off if or value. I have yet to find the perfect property after having tried, Seguaro, Zoso, Marriott Courtyard, Renaissance, Viceroy, Riviera, Seven Springs, Old Ranch Inn, Hyatt, and Andreas Hotel - all in the last three years while investing in real estate. I have not made the leap to the price category of Colony Palms or The Willows. My three favorites are Andreas, Hyatt, and Zoso (rumored to be changing to a brand name this fall). All three are great locations and spacious rooms.

I like Andreas for location. The rooms can be noisy if you book a suite facing Palm Canyon. Other rooms can be dark. But I have found few small intimate hotels which are maintained as professionally as this one. The service is excellent. You have to experience the charm of this place to understand it; perhaps after trying others. What it lacks in some amenities, it makes up for other ways. The lobby breakfast is very nice. The in room refrigerator, coffee maker, micro wave and easy access to downtown restaurants offset the lack of "room service." Towels are good, rooms clean, pool warm, beds comfortable (although no feather pillows were available). The pool is quiet. There is no elevator to the second floor rooms (lug the luggage). My recommendation would be to upgrade the shower heads. MY favorite room is #219. It's dark, but offers a King bed at their Queen Bed price tier and it is quiet. This is a good place if you have a car, parking is easy in their convenient lot. No gym.

The Hyatt is nice too, but I did not like the hefty parking fees. The pool can be crowded. The staff are wonderful. This is a full size hotel with all the amenities as you'd expect. My chief complaint was finding reasonable "cancel-able" rates. They focus on heavily discounted "pre-paid non-refundable rates." Self parking is a hike to get to your car. Valet parking is the alternative. This is a good place if you don't have a car.

Hotel Zoso is a great vale, but I hate to say too much in light of the rumored changeover. I hope they reconstruct the pool and upgrade the elevators. The pool is very shallow all over. It's basically a "dipping pool." The elevator buttons were worn out. It has a an adequate gym facility. I had a problem of lack of electrical outlets near the bed.

Many PS hotels are older and have a lack of electrical outlets by the night tables. They would be wise to invert the beside lighting to some newer lamps with outlets in the bases similar to the Marriott "Glo Lamp" used in their renovations.

Room Tip: Do not face Palm Canyon if noise will bother you. There is a noisy bar below some of them, then str...

Our family of 4 has spent 4 weeks in the USA staying at 8 hotels in total. Andreas was the best of the lot. We had the 2 bedroom apartment looking over the pool. It was immaculate and spacious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful who were most welcoming. There was a delicious breakfast included daily and the iced water coolers in the common areas were most refreshing in the hot weather. The location was perfect as it was an easy walk to everything. Our family didn't want to leave and we highly recommend Andreas Hotl ans Spa to everyone. It was "the best". Thanks for having us!!!

Lovely Hotel with personable and knowledgeable staff. Thursday night Street Fair is so much fun. The lemon water provided everyday was good for my skin and refreshment. The hotel is clean and very convenient to everything. Loved it so much I hated to leave.

Room Tip: Rooms facing Mountains are fantastic

I just got back from a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, almost anything worth doing in Palm Springs is a quick walk from the hotel. The staff at Andreas was wonderful. At checkin we were shown up to our room by the lovely front desk clerk. The room was very charming! It was a good size for two people and even had a fireplace! The pool was perfectly relaxing and since it is kind of in the shade, it was still cool eventhough it was 104 outside that day! They do have a complimentary breakfast in the mornings, but we decided to sleep in instead of eating. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to base yourself for a Palm Spring getaway!

My mom and I stayed here for a mother daughter weekend around Mother's Day. Our room was small but clean, and the best part was the pool. It was a perfect relaxing oasis in super hot Palm Springs with comfortable recliners and even popcorn served poolside. The location is right off Main Street - so easy walking distance to most stores and restaurants. We also got massages at the spa, which were reasonable and very good. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quiet relaxation! 75666ZC
