Been going there for years and usually get the fish & chips but noticed the calamari steak sandwich on the menu. I went for it. The sandwich had a giant calamari steak just lightly grilled I believe. I was watching the cook prepare but spaced at the moment he did this crucial cooking step. Non the less it was a tender steak over a half inch thick and dressed with lettuce and tomato and some sauce. I forget what but different than tarter. I comes with chips and cole slaw and all were great. The calamari was lightly seasoned and just made for a great seafood sandwich. It is now one of my regular orders when visiting.
There is a condiment bar in the dining room for salad dressing, tarter sauce and others. Very nice folks work there and are always willing to answer questions or correct mistakes.
Large variety of seafood, I have only mentioned two items but there are MANY more. Give it a try and enjoy!

You sit down, then go up to the counter to place your order after looking at the fish on ice behind the glass...The fish seemed very fresh, and it was inexpensive. The kids meals were also inexpensive, and they got a lot of food for the money! I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for fish in Palm Springs and don't want to pay a fortune for it.

We purchased some Tuna to cook at the house we were renting very good, so we decided to try their fish and chips. The chips were great the Halibut was very disappointing 2 very skinny pieces of dry Halibut not worth the money. Having heard so much about the place we were expecting at least the quality we would get in the UK if the fish was what they normally serve they would not last long here
