Large menu selection of very fresh fish. Portions were pretty large for lunch. As mentioned you order at the counter & they bring food to table.

I live in Palm Springs and eat here at least once a week. The food is good and the staff are super friendly. The only flaw in their system is how orders are placed. During the summer when there's no one here, it's fine. But once the snowbirds start arriving, and especially when both the snowbirds are here AND the various festivals are in full swing, the wait to order probably drives people away. The uninitiated will also take a table they haven't been assigned, making it difficult for the people who were assigned the table when they come out from ordering. Perhaps during the busy seasons they should have a few waiters and actually seat people and take their orders the traditional way. Otherwise, it's obviously good or I wouldn't eat here so often, especially during the winter when the wait can be so long just to place an order.

Found this place right across the street from our Best Western Las Brisas. You order you food from the counter (fast food style) and pick a table and your food is brought to you. Busy kitchen visible and adds a nice atmosphere if you like the eating the local pier/fish restaurant style. Not fancy but good ambiance with excellent food. Early bird dinners start at about $12 like my excellent grilled salmon.

The fish was fresh and cooked well. The interior is a little rustic but has lots of character. Prices are reasonable.

My husband and I ate lunch here about a week or so ago and were so disappointed after reading the rave reviews on line. Both of us had seafood....me the shrimp tacos and my husband the whitefish. The shrimp were supposed to be grilled but didn't appear to be and didn't seem fresh. The tacos were thick and hard. The whitefish as well did not seem fresh. The condiments appeared to have been sitting for several hours and were definitely not fresh tasting. We would not return again.
