The Hideaway is wonderful, unbelievable location, just 10 rooms around a gorgeous saltwater pool. Since children and pets aren’t welcome, it is an adult retreat. There is a record player in each room and a library of old vinyl to listen too. There is a simple breakfast available. We plan on making use of the lounge area and the fire pit by the pool.

This was our first time to Palm Springs, a place I’ve been wanting to visit for years to explore a few of the many amazing examples of mid century architecture.

Apart from being well located, clean and managed by friendly staff, the accommodation was straight out of the pages of an architectural magazine published in the 50’s.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, albeit short, and look forward to returning for longer stay in the future.

Stayed here for three nights and wish it had been longer. The rooms are comfortable and the pool and garden area is really nice. The pool was lovely to relax in during the day and there were plenty of loungers round the pool. The hotel is a short walk to the Restaurant area of Palm Springs which meant not needed to take the car at night.
The breakfast provided each morning was light but enough.
Eric the host couldn’t have been more helpful. I would happily stay here again.

Great little find within walking distance of restaurants/shops etc. Quirky little room, lovely continental pastries/coffee for breakfast. We loved how quiet and relaxing the pool area was. We were offered earlier check in and late check out at no extra cost. Sadly we had to leave as we had other plans but the gesture was very much appreciated.

Great mid century modern architecture--apparently the city thought so & put up a plaque. Awesome location--walking distance to the main section of the main drag. Very quiet. No kids. Clean rooms. Vintage decor. Can't deny all of the above were terrific.
However, the pool was heated. In July. The average temperature in July for Palm Springs is 108 degrees. The cement around the pool was too hot to walk on in bare feet. In fact, you could not sit on it.
I'm rounding my 3.5 score up to a 4 because the Hideaway is definitely not average but I wouldn't say our stay was very good, either.
