This is my 4th trip to the Palm Springs Rendezvous and I cant rave enough about it! We are already planning a trip in October as well. This place is amazing. The rooms are so thoughtfully designed and the sheets are the most decadent sheets I have ever slept in - I couldnt walk past the bed without laying down! The service is unbelieveable - Jake and Betty and Leah bend over backwards to make your stay as fantastic as possible - always offering to make recommendations or dinner reservations for you. The blue martinis and appys at 5:00 make this place over the top. You will not be disappointed if you stay here - it makes you want to come back for more!

I had a few days to spend with my daughter. She wanted to get away from the intensity of Las Vegas where she works...we decided on Palm Springs since neither of us had been there. We ran across the Rendezvous on line and booked it. I was intrigued by the nostalgia of it all and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is quite retro...but very well maintained...furnishings...grounds...pool...etc. We stayed in the Shake, Rattle and Roll room...wasn't my first choice when booking but everything else was already booked. The room was quite comfortable and we were very pleased. It was clean...with a great attention to detail (Elvis theme). We had a decent sized refrigerator stocked with water, ice tea and sodas (complimentary). There was also a microwave, 2 comfy robes, jacuzzi, nice flat screen and a comfortable bed...no complaints. We only had an opportunity to meet Betty briefly but Jake took really good care of us. He made some awesome fruit smoothies and delicious breakfasts both mornings of our stay....and did I mention the Blue Martinis at 5:00 pm.... fabulous! Jake was the perfect host....steered us to a really nice Thai restaurant for dinner (Pepper's)...I would highly recommend it and Jake also took care of reservations. Palm Springs is a cute little town...pretty quiet...not a lot of night life if that is what you are looking for. This was the perfect vacation for my daughter and I to relax and de-stress.... thank you...great time!!

Like a trip back in time to when we were young! all the rooms are different and themed (we had Blue Hawaii) and the whole place is very retro chic. Jake, the owner, goes out of his way helpful and is a very cordial host.

Great pool with jacuzzi, adjoining 50's era bar where happy hour martinis are served with hors d'oevres and a substantial breakfast, different each day, is served at the time requested by the guest.

Overall, a wonderful stay. Thanks, Jake & Co.

My girlfriend and I have stayed at many B&B's, but none of them compare to the Rendezvous! This place is about as good as it gets (or at least as good as we've found). It's really the little things that make this place so wonderful.

For starters, the food is amazing!!! They even have cookbooks for sale with the recipes they make for guests. Jake makes some killer smoothies that are also very healthy. Not to mention the treats that were waiting for us in a cute little mason jar by the bed when we checked in.

All of the rooms have themes that relate in some way with movie stars of yester-year. We stayed in the "Stagecoach" room - a tribute to John Wayne, complete with a real-life lasso hanging on the wall. The sheets were so plush it made us want to buy them and take them home with us (which you can do!). There was a jacuzzi tub right in the room, flat screen tv (they have a dvd library with all of the classics), built-in vanity, and plenty of room to lounge. The twin sinks in the bathroom were also a nice touch.

We made sure we were there for cocktail hour every night before heading out on the town. Their signature drink served during happy hour is a "Ballantini" (a blue, raspberry martini) and they're good! Happy hour was also a good time to talk with the staff about local restaurants, recreational activities and so forth in a relaxed setting.

The view of San Jacinto Mountain from poolside is spectacular, but unfortunately we didn't make it up to the top to see what the view down looks like (heard it's pretty cool, literally!). With all that said, it still gets better...

The level of service that we received was top notch. Not the kind of service that's annoying (like when you're at a fancy restaurant and every time a crumb hits the table someone quickly whisks it away). There was a truly genuine quality in the friendly nature of the staff and they were willing to go the extra mile and then some, in order to make sure that our stay was enjoyable.

Seriously, the only disappointment was having to leave...

On a cross country trip with my wife. Stopped in Palm Springs for two nights for some R and R. Found Rendezvous on TripAdvisor. Could not have been more pleased. Great attentive service by Betty and and Jake. Wonderful breakfasts, fun martinis at 5, great soundtrack at pool, beautiful restored 50s property, room large and comfy, walk to downtown. What more could one ask for?
