We stayed in TV Shows with amazingly soft mircofiber sheets. On our nightstand was a jar of delicious treats that Lee refilled the following day. John-Michael is an amazing host!!! There was not a morning where he did not dazzle us with his cooking abilities. A delicious three-course breakfast would make the hungriest satisfied.

There were about four other couples staying in the other individually designed room. We mainly interacted briefly with a "good morning" in the lounge when having breakfast. The layout of the resort has all the rooms surrounding the good size pool and jacuzzi. To help combat the blazing heat of Palm Springs, the pool water was refreshingly cool.

John-Michael has plenty to recommend in terms of exploring the nearby downtown area. We lucked out getting to experience the VillageMarket on Thursday nights. Rendezvous also has some bicycles to check out to take into town as well.

Rendezvous is now our preferred stay in what will be an annual trip to this oasis. Thank you again, John-Michael for being so accommodating to both our crazy schedule. We will see you again next year!

Room Tip: When staying here, you can select from two times to have your complementary breakfast 8:30AM or 10AM. Also, there are complementary drinks 5PM-6PM. Cocktails are strong!

Had a fantastic stay at this small hotel. As everyone says, the staff were so nice and helpful. There is a proper relaxed vibe and the location is perfect to wander round Palm Springs. Also, the free bikes were great - we cycled for hours around the old movie colony and explored the area generally. The rooms are fun too, Crooners was lovely!

Sometimes, we spend so much time thinking about all the fun stuff we do that we forget the best part... it's calm! Thanks for pointing that out. See you soon!

Great B&B. We loved the happy hour and breakfast. We stayed in the Stagecoach room and it was wonderful. Leigh and John-Michael were great. I recommend staying here. It is worth the price!!!! I cannot say anything negative about the place or the staff!!!

After 5 days gallivanting in LA, we opted to take 3 days to go to Palm Springs. I mean, it is LA’s resort town after all… We found this little spot through the reviews on Tripadvisor and it did NOT disappoint. 10 rooms, all surrounding a nice-sized pool, all themed to various tastes. We liked the Route 66 and the Shake Rattle & Roll, but of course, neither one of them was available for the full 3 nights. So we stayed one night in the former and the other two nights in the latter. The rooms are very well appointed, with very comfortable king-sized beds, a Jacuzzi tub separate from the toilet room, closet, fridge and seating. As July daytime temps hover around 110F (45C), the A/C was crucial even if you don’t like A/C and it was lovely!

We took advantage of the discounted rates for the aerial tramway (which is a must do!) and made sure we were on site for the 5 o’clock cocktails and appetizers (3 nights, 3 very different appetizers). This allowed us to have far lighter dinners than otherwise. Plus being in the pool in the late afternoon is not a bad idea, with the breeze to keep you cool once wet.

The breakfasts are in 2 seatings. As we were visiting from the east coast, we went for the earlier 8:30 seating. It was great food in great quantities, and they accommodated allergies very well. With some nice orange juice, a fruit smoothie, a fruit plate/bowl with home made (and tasty!) granola and a main dish (either scrambled eggs, French toast or waffles)… we never managed to eat it all.

The guests are also all very friendly and it was nice to engage in conversation with the various comers and goers from around the globe.

A side note: Palm Springs is to relax. There are some nice hikes to be had (and the aerial tram), but if you are bad at doing nothing (as we are) – 3 days is just enough time to enjoy and not get bored.

Room Tip: Each of the 10 rooms has a different decor theme, so go on the website and see which one is to your taste.

We found this place on Yelp and are glad we did. We spent a truly delightful night there. Quiet... Relaxing... Beautifully detailed. John Michael is a terrific, welcoming, one-of-a-kind hotelier!! He alone is worth the price of admission.
