Wow, fantastic place. Even as we were checking in with the gracious host John Michael, I was writing this review in my head.!
The property is quaint, private and soooo relaxing. After entering the Marilyn Monroe room, we knew we had made a great choice. Later complementary cocktails and appetizers by the pool, and the day just kept improving.
Breakfast in the morning was a work of art! Smoothies, fruit and lovely fresh berry waffles , juice, simply devine.
Our two nights were over too soon. Just let me drift off in a slumber one more time in this peaceful and very hospitable oasis in the desert....:)
Thank you JM, Lee and all the staff for a wonderful stay. We will return!

Room Tip: Any room will be great. Honeymoon suite is a bit larger than some.

To save on costs, we didn't want to book an official Coachella hotel - so we looked for one that was near one of the official shuttle stops. This was just a 3-5 minute walk to the Riviera - a shuttle stop for the festival.

The hotel was really nice, very quaint and even had a heated pool and jacuzzi. Just 10 rooms so it was private and very quiet the entire time - no party music or unruly folks - this served us just fine since we had more than our fill of all that at the festival.

The room (we booked the Silver Screen room) was pretty big and well-appointed - with a bathtub and 2 sinks, one each for me and my wife. We appreciated the complimentary food, soda and home-made pastries in the room.

The staff was really nice, Jackie was a darling - she even made us some fruit smoothies to set us on our way to the airport.

We will definitely stay here again if ever we find our way to Palm Springs.

On reading all the reviews etc... I was expecting a quirky, stylish, hip and friendly B&B with lots of personality and little touches.

I wasn't disappointed.

However, what I wasn't expecting was the level of luxury we received. Beds and linen are some of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in. Complimentary mini-bar was a nice touch. Robes were divine!

This is a unique and special little place. Run by people who have an obvious passion for customer service and operate at a very high level.

The previous reviewers have described this little 9 unit oasis in north central Palm Springs accuratley.! My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 5 days in early April. The real stars are the staff, from Lee and Jackie in the office, and serving cocktails and appys around the pool late afternoon, to patiently answering numerous questions, organizing the stylish bikes to circulate around the famous movie stars homes.and the nearby parks. The breakfast were six star, starting off having a fruit smoothie in a fluted glass in the early morning sunshine. Next was a varying plate of fruit, yogurt, oats, nuts drizzled with tangy sauces. Main course very intriguing egg dishes, prepared by the Chris and Vern. JM pitches in as well !!

Cleaning staff worked very hard in the heat of the mid day, providing three different levels of services, great idea.

Lovely pool and spa, memories brought back from soft period music, interesting guests from around the world and Roxanne from Seattle. Can;t wait to return next year. The hard part is waking up after a lovely peaceful night and looking up to Marilyn Munroe.

First time staying at a BB would definitely stay again. The cocktail hour and breakfast were so good, the kitchen staff were very friendly! All the staff were very pleasant and made you feel welcome. We stayed in Route 66 and I loved the comfortable bed and the big bath tub!

Room Tip: Route 66 room is near the front gate and didn't have any rooms next to it

The Rendezvous is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Palm Springs life. I loved every minute of our stay. When we arrived we were greeted by Lee who was so helpful from the very beginning with making sure we made it to the Follies show that we had tickets for and getting us situated. The themed rooms and atmosphere of the 50's was fun and brought great memories of that era. John Michael who runs the show, so to speak, was the perfect host and I might add a terrific cook. We were able to unwind our first night with cocktails and appetizers by the pool and later enjoy the jacuzzi and look up at the stars, by day you have a great view of palm trees and mountains from the pool area. The breakfast is delicious not to mention those extra touches of fruit dishes and smoothies served by friendly staff. Our room was the TV room and enjoyed the decor with pictures from the old TV shows and DVD's from "I Love Lucy" that you could watch. Beds are very comfortable and everything spotless. All the extra touches, robes, sweet treats, and refrigerater with water and drinks made for a very comfortable stay! Would highly recommend and we will definitely be coming back!

Needed to get away from Los Angeles… and this was IT.
Great food.
Great rooms.
Relaxing, calm, and great massage.
Super clean and comfortable.
Our go to place from now on when we need to unwind.
