Went there for happy hour. Took forever for someone to come and get drink order. Friend ordered a martini and they had no olives they said. I ordered a rum and coke and they had no limes. What is this for a bar? Bar very dark inside, furniture kind of interesting but service was awful and drinks just ok

While my daughter and husband were in the pool, I enjoyed a tropical drink that was comprised of Malibu, Pineapple Juice, something like Watermelon Liqueur? and maybe a Captain Morgan Spiced Rum...the only thing I would change would be to serve it in a glass recepticle vs. plastic, BUT understand the "concerns" of glass by the pool.

We found the side bar to be rather dark, we couldn't read the menu it was that dark. We only had a bar snack but it was very good and service was also good. We did intend to return for a meal, but we ran out of holiday!

Drinks are not at all inexpensive in this hidden bar/lounge/dance club... but it is a hidden treasure that we will indeed return to.

Crowd is generally young, but both patrons and staff are very accepting of all ages.

We were two couples dropping in for Happy Hour and some live music. There website is not up to date, so you cannot count on it. We had planned to visit the Starlight Lounge since their site said music started late afternoon. It did not start until 10 p.m.
Our food was OK. The HH menu has some interesting items, like Lobster Mac&Cheese which my wife found enjoyable, lots of lobster. I had the same, but did not finish it since I found it too salty. Our friends liked the Steak Frites and Topless Burger. The drinks were somewhat on the expensive side and surprisingly our Stella beer was warm, so we switched however the waitress did not seem concerned even though she agreed with us. So while the food and service were not memorable the ambience by the pool was very nice. Several low flame fireplaces, wispy trees and nice landscaping. The Riviera itself was renovated recently making it worth the visit if just for the history and ambience.
We would go again, but likely only after we checked out all the neat spots in Palm Springs.
