I had booked a 90 minute couples massage for myself and my girlfriend. After arriving a few minutes before our session was due to start, we filled in some basic details and then were taken down a corridor, outside, through a door, up some stairs, down another corridor to the rooms. At this point, we were split up into separate rooms.
I thought this was very strange, as I had booked a couples massage and this was the whole point of paying $258 (excl tip) for a romantic session.
The deep-tissue massage itself was very good - obviously not relaxing, but stress-relieving none-the-less. Both of us drank a lot of water for the rest of the day and limited our alcohol intake, but we were extremely sore the next day.
Regardless, the room was nice, the music relaxing and the lady giving the massage was pleasant and considerate.
