“Amazing!”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

Stayed here by chance as our usual PS residence was fully booked due to a convention. What a pleasant surprise, a real hidden gem. Stayed in one of their Villas which was huge, love the art and interior design. really enjoyed walking the grounds and hanging out in the hammocks. Normas was fabulous, love the Lemonade stands, nice touch. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, loved the Parker and will be back.

Are you kidding me?! Run to The Parker!!! So fun, hip, stylish and luxurious! Their staff is amazing and their service is unparalleled! I find every excuse I can to go back. "Treat yo self!!"
Make sure you give yourself enough time to take full advantage of everything this oasis has to offer! They have two 24 hour pools, a spa, croquet fields, bocce ball, tennis, chess, 2 restaurants (Norma's don't miss their brunch, I recommend Norma's Donuts with lemon custard and blue berry reserves, holy yum!!! and Mister Parker, be prepared to spend a bit more but well worth it!!! The decor, the service, the food, the wine list, yikes!!! So so so good!) They have amazing cocktails at their mini bar and lemonade stand, I recommend the Muddled lemon and main squeeze at the lemonade stand and anything with cucumber at the mini bar. Make sure that you go to their fire bit and order s'mores and go to their hammocks and take a snooze. I also think that an self respecting coffee fiend out there should NOT miss out on their coffee. The best I've ever had. Ps, their wake up call comes with complementary coffee service!!! What the what!? do it! I don't know what to say. I love it her. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about this wonderful place. Do yourself a favor and please go!

Room Tip: Every room is amazing, but we most recently stayed at 11North near the family pool. It was so awesom...

My husband and I were in Palm Springs for Coachella and the Parker was the perfect choice. It was an oasis from the chaos. We had so much fun relaxing and wandering around through the property.

The drinks they serve by the pool and at the Lemonade Stand were awesome and the staff was very friendly.

We also loves the toiletries! So luxurious! Can't wait to come back!

Here are a few interesting facts you may want to know before you stay at a The Parker:

- Valet parking is your only option. The cost is covered in the $30 a day resort fee.
-Wi-Fi throughout the property is intermittent.
- There are two outdoor pools. The smaller pool is for children, while the larger pool is adult only.
-Platinum SPG guests receive the option of choosing a $20 ($40 for two) a day breakfast credit for either room service or Norma's Restaurant as their free amenity. Our bill was still $23 for two which included a mandatory 15% tip. Food was good and large portions.
-There is no complimentary coffee at the hotel. Your option is to order room service or at Norma's - $12 a pot.
-The cranks on the poolside umbrellas do not work. You will have to manually lift them and use a string to keep them open.
-Alcoholic drinks at the Lemonade Stand cost $17 each. Tasty but expensive.
-They call this a non-smoking hotel but allow guests to smoke in designated areas. Not sure why.
-There is a small putting green at the back of the property you may miss. It's nice.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at The Parker, but this hotel is not for everyone. It is a uniquely styled hotel that is expensive by Palm Springs standards. It boarders luxurious, but just doesn't make the grade due to the lack of property updates over the years.

I spent time deciding about this hotel. I'm glad I stayed. It has a wide range of reviews. Here is my experience:

Grounds- gorj
Staff- amazing
Pools-avoid the kid pool if you are kidless

Food- high priced for what you get This is the only negative for me

Rooms- great, avoid north building to avoid kid pool noise

Spa-unique and relaxing

We stayed at The Parker during Coachella and it truly felt like a lush, peaceful oasis amidst all the crazy desert partying. The grounds are amazing: palmtrees, hammocks, petanque, a lemon stand, pools and beautiful quiet hiding spots. Service is top-notch from the valet to the pool boys attending to your every need with a big smile. Breakfast at Norma's was heaven. The decor made me feel as if I was starring in a Mad Men episode. Well, I could go on for a while longer but you get the picture.

Verdict: yep, expensive but sooooo worth it!

The products were fabulous. Loved the spa. I wish there was complimentary water. The pillows smelled like smoke. Comforter was plain. Everyone was really nice. The steam room and sauna were perfect. I loved the food at
Mister Parker's the food at the pool was just ok. The chips were kinda stale.
