Nice view of the San Jacinto Mountains. It's nice in Spring, Fall and Winter time. It's a Little too hot in summer.
Overall a nice experience.

Mt. San Jacinto State Park has miles and miles of hiking trails and within the 14k acres has six primitive campsite locations. Camping is permitted only in designated campsite areas. No fee permits are required for backpacking and hiking in the Wilderness but not required for day time trail hiking. Once again, like Joshua Tree, if you can camp overnight, the nighttime sky view is spectacular. Take a camera but also a good set of binoculars. Hiking trails are easy and start with short 3/4 mile walks to over 5 miles. If you hike to San Jacinto peak you have spectacular views from the second highest point is Southern California. Please respect the park, take out what you take in so all can enjoy the natural beauty this park has to offer.

When in Palm Springs you have to experience this. It is a refreshing get-a-way to beat the heat! Very exciting. I will be back and taking advantage of a night visit.

I walked around all day. Don't miss five notches where you have nice views of the desert and mountains.

Breath taking views, a must. Taking a trip 8500 ft up a mountain to a park by a cable car. I loved it and I am not a fan of heights.
