We stay at the Garden Vista Hotel and the staff recommended Dickies...we had 2nd thoughts but when the GM at the hotel (Frank) assured us this was the place to come we did. Bill greeted us and was amazing...we had such a good lunch we came back for dinner...quality and value are the key ingredients here!! We did not have a single complaint...

As we kept driving by this restaurant during a recent stay to Palm Springs decided to give it a try as it always seemed to be busy! Were quickly seated by a window by a most personable hostess who indicated that we would have to participate in the Kareoke before our food would be served! Needless to say that wasn't going to happen but were quickly receptive to the friendly atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyed the ambience the remainder of the evening. (Some of the singers were superb -- others painful -- but all were entertaining for a short while). Our waitress was just excellent. She was full of energy, always cheerful, and ensured that all needs were attended to promptly. Good selection of beers and wine which were very reasonaly priced. My wife had fish and chips which she found mostly average. Personally had corned beef and cabbage which was truly about the best have ever had. Wanted to return on another evening to have it again but was out-voted of course! The ambience alone of this restaurant is worth the visit. We will certainly return again and have no hesitation in recommending it to others!

Our meal here was unfortunately cut short by a very rude customer (not directed at us but at the staff and within hearing distance of our kids). While there, the boys enjoyed their 2 for 1 burgers on Tuesdays. The burgers were huge, well prepared, and certainly far above what one would expect on a 2 for 1 night! We had the wings and they were too crusty for my taste, but others might like them. This establishment came recommended by snowbirds who spend enough time in Palm Springs to know what's good. I hope next year to be able to spend a little more time.

Looked the reviews here on trip adv. and gave it a try. A friendly place, good menu of both traditional bar grub and some Irish foods. I went for the bangers and mash just cause I kept coming back to it from a very large menu. The misses had a ruben that was very good (had some myself) as they season it themselves. Very good.

Seemed like a very friendly place and we might visit again before we head home.
