Tucked away in the middle of the California desert, I found a ‘home away from home’.
The attention given to me by staff members from check-in to maids attending the room made me feel right at ‘home’. Everybody at the hotel exemplified 5 star service attitudes. After a few rounds out on the golf course I went retreated to my room where it was quite and relaxing. Before hitting the course every morning I took advantage of the complementary breakfast that was offered. I highly recommend for guests to stay here and take advantage of the amenities and attention to service provided by the staff and management.

This is the first time staying at this hotel, and it was clean and some what comfortable. I go to Palm Springs monthly, and normally stay at the Las Brisas, but decided to try this one since it was half the cost. The air conditioner was not the best, and the elevators are from the 60's, but overall, it was a decent place.

We recently stayed in a Choice Hotel, Comfort Inn Palm Springs in April. The hotel was ideally situated just a short walk from the main high street. Unfortunately, I had the misfortune of having money and jewellry stolen from this hotel. This was bad enough but it was actually stolen from the Reception Area, safety deposit boxes.
DO NOT USE THESE BOXES, ESPECIALLY AT CHOICE HOTELS, these include Quality Inns, Comfort Inns. Sleep Inns, Rodeway Inns etc. They do not keep your valuables safe, if you do make a claim, they tell you that 90% was not covered by insurance. You would be better not to use these hotels, we won't be again. If you do, don't use the boxes

We stayed three nights in May 10 and enjoyed our stay. Very clean and nice but they only have cookies on weekends which disappointed us. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely come back and recommend it. Oh, unlike others I have visited, they had no fruit out except during the breakfast and that really wasn't very nice. The breakfast bar is typical with the best thing being the waffles.

Booked the Comfort Inn in Palm Springs due to expectations of both a decent hotel in Palm Springs of all places and that it was a Comfort Inn which has always been above average at our other stays.
Check in was very good as staff was very pleasant and outgoing. Had to take elevator to 3rd floor which was the first indication that this was not going to be a pleasant experience. The elevator is smaller than most closets. Wife, myself and two bags were about all it would hold. Hotel has not seemed to been updated at all. Older beds, ceilings patched (poorly), very noisy pipes in bathroom, you get the idea...
Slightly worried about safety due to the area but pleasantly surprised after walking to dinner. We set off and found the Thursday night street fair and open air market. They shut off 7-8 blocks for crafts, vendors and fresh fruits and veggies. Great evening that we would not have known without stumbling into.
Expected a poor nights sleep but very quiet and slept like a baby. Stayed 4 nights total and very pleased overall. Wish they would update the hotel to be more of the quality of a Comfort Inn, espescially in Palm Springs. There is a Quality Inn in Cathedral City we stayed at last year - will book it again next year if we come back to California.
I did call and complain to Choice Hotels about the quality not meeting our expectations of a Comfort Inn. They were very good and followed up and genuinely seemed concerned of our feelings.

Stayed for one night 127$ on a friday. First off the location is great for Palm Springs center with loads of bars and restraunts. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the elevator was slower than a snail pulling a cow, then to the room, it smelled really bad, was dark and dismal looking the aircon was very loud and practically useless. This hotel was a real disappointment to us especially after having such a good experience with the Comfot Inn near Monterey. Would not stay again.

The price was decent, but the property has not been kept up. Dirty carpets in the hallways. Bathrooms out of date. Loud and noisey. Worn out elevator. Overall, did not feel safe. The first time I have ever been completely disappointed in a Comfort Inn / Choice property. Most of all, they didn't seem to care.
