We have visited Palm Springs on four occasions now the last being from February 2 to the 12th and each time we have stayed at a different "boutique hotel" for lack of a better name. Of the four hotels... this one has been the best. Barb and Chris are wonderful owners and hosts and make you feel very welcome. It may be a tired cliche but we really felt like being at home. The hotel is nicely located in downtown Palm Springs in the Old Tennis District and it is very quiet at night. The owners live on the premises and they are both very knowledgeable of local restaurants and entertainment and "things to do". The hotel pool and rooms are kept very clean. We stayed in #3 which included a small kitchenette and was perfect for my wife and I as we usually prefer to make our own breakfasts and lunches. Other rooms have larger kitchens I understand but we did not look at any of the other rooms. I highly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: Just talk to Barb about what you think you need and follow her recommendations.

We just spent the holidays in Palm Springs and stayed at the Coyote Inn. We had a fantastic time! The Coyote Inn is a wonderful Spanish mission style resort with 8 rooms. Our room #3 was beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchenette, fireplace, flat screen TV, dishwasher and a small sitting area. The room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. It is also nice to be able to walk right outside your room and be at the salt-water pool and Jacuzzi. They also had a gas fire pit outside that you could sit around and get to meet the other guests staying at the resort. Being only a few blocks from downtown Palm Springs and being able to walk was a bonus too. You are also approx. 10 minutes from the Palm Springs airport.

I cannot say enough about the wonderful hospitality we received from the owners of the Coyote Inn, Chris and Barb. From the time we first stepped foot into the resort to the time we left, we were made to feel like we were at home. They always greeted us with a smile, so friendly, helped us with tips on where to go, directions, and things to see and do. There was even a wonderful box of cookies waiting for us when we arrived on Christmas Eve.

I would highly recommend this “First Class” resort to any of my friends, family and colleagues.

Thank you Barb and Chris. We had a great time and will be back.

P.S. See if you can count all the hummingbirds when you stay there! Incredible to see!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are great that I saw. Family stayed in #2 which had a separate living room which is...

We stayed in this lovely inn for four nights in December and it could not have been a better experience. Our room (Room 3) was cozy, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and comfortable. We loved the fireplace and bookshelf. The kitchen had everything we needed. Barb and Chris were so friendly and accommodating. Highlights were the saltwater pool, wonderfully warm on those cold nights, outdoor fire pit, and the hot tub. The small property is wonderfully landscaped, so relaxing and inviting, plus walking distance to everything.

Room Tip: Each room is different so look at pictures on the website. We loved #3, which is light and has a gr...

Stayed at the C.I.for a couple of days recently and I can honestly say we hated to leave. This eight room (All ground level and poolside!!) Inn is the ideal place for couple looking for a quiet and cozy getaway. Barb and Chris (Owners) could not have been nicer or more accomodating. We stayed in room 7 and it was perfect in every way (Loved the decor). Our fellow guests were very nice as well and were the same as us, wanted a quiet, comfortable place without stairs, long walks to the room or a bunch of kids running around. The neighborhood location is ideal too almost right at the foothills and is a great area for a morning walk. Also within walking distance is Palm Canyon Drive full of restaurants and shops. To put it simply, we would come back again and again and again...

After 2 years we finally made it again to the Coyote Inn. This time i brought my parents along.
The stay was as wonderful as the last time. We all enjoyed the time there very much.
It's so relaxing at the pool, or having a chat with Chris and/or Barb. They both are so nice and kind.
Hope to find the time soon again to go there...

I just returned from spending 3 nights at the Coyote Inn. I stayed in room #7 a Garden Studio room. Everything was exactly as shown in the online photos, immaculately clean and nicely decorated. Even though the temperature was in the high 80's there was no need to use the air con. Just open the front and back doors and turn on the overhead fan and the room immediately cooled off. I enjoyed BBQing dinner on the courtyard bbq and sitting around the gas fire pit having an evening drink with other guests. The free long distance calling to Canada and the US was a plus. Chris and Barb are very hospitable, and always ensure that everything is in order, you never see them pass through the Courtyard that they don't stop to adjust a table or chair, or straighten out the selection of free daily newspapers. An interesting and enjoyable group of other guests from the UK, Germany, Seattle, and San Francisco. A short walk to the Main Street, casino and the art museum. If I am ever back in Palm springs I will definitely be staying with Chris & Barb.

Room Tip: Check with Chris or Barb on room amenities, some rooms have full stoves others only have hot plate...
