This one is a bit of a mixed bag. It is an "older" property that used to be a small apartment complex. Thus the rooms are really small apartments. That's a good thing. But on the backside, the rooms are also in need of some updates, if that is important to you. Most importantly, the bathrooms are mostly original. They have low level vanity counters and the old bath tubs and shower enclosures - the sliding glass doors on the tub. To be clear, everything about the bathrooms is spotless and in as good a condition as you can possible get it for older facilities - no worries there, just getting old. There is lots of counter space to spread out your toiletries. The location is very quiet and the sleeping is great. Wonderful beds in either the separate bedroom in the larger suites, or the "front room" in the smaller units. In either case you will enjoy a fabulous night's sleep due to the quiet central A/C and secluded location of the rooms down the beautiful bougainvillea shrouded walkway. Housekeeping was top-notch except for some attention to detail in the kitchen. I found that the sticky residue on the toaster knobs and drawer pulls a bit unsettling. And speaking of sticky, the kitchen and bathroom drawers were hard to pull due to many years of painting building up on the woodwork. The full sized refrigerator, stocked dishes and utensils and large dining area were very welcome. And, the garbage disposal worked, too. For the really ambitious, there was a full sized 4-burner stove. The hosts and entire staff couldn't be more pleasant and welcoming. Even the two roadrunners that came demanding a daily feeding of raw meat seemed part of the family. The pool and outdoor eating areas were reasonably tidy, although there was a bit too much garden debris on the decking for my taste. Plan to dust off the lounge furniture before planting your tucas. The pool and spa are modest size, not adequate for lap swimming, but perfect for relaxing and conversation with new friends. Breakfast was the usual assortment of boxed cereals, wrapped pastries, bananas, coffee, tea, etc. Due to local health regulations, nothing is actually prepared on site. Lunch is not provided, so you either order something delivered on your own, or go off the property. The location is ideal, close enough to downtown that you can walk in for a restaurant or shopping experience and safely walk back again. No need to take your vehicle unless you plan to go to one of the venues at the far north end of town. You can also walk the short distance to the west to great hiking trails in the mountains above the resort. WiFi service worked very well and the rooms are equipped with quality TV and cable service. There is ample storage and hanging space for all your outfits. The Triangle provides a very good value for your dollars per day in a modest, small-ish facility.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side of the walkway are quieter, but a bit darker. North side rooms are on the street, but noise really isn't a problem there either.

When traveling alone this is my gay hotel of choice. This is a small boutique hotel with 8 rooms. Lush and green landscaping make it a cozy hide away. Michael and Steven are great guys and connected in the community. Their employees are friendly and attentive. Their Continental breakfast in the morning is a wide offering. They host a lot of groups, so ask what is happening at the hotel while your going to stay there. It will let you know what to expect.

This place is truly a small slice of paradise. The rooms and the grounds and the hosts are really top notch. If you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful get-a-way, then I highly suggest it. Crowd is definitely older, so if you are looking to party young, you should bring the party with you ;)

The lads who run this place are obviously still enjoying what they do.
They, and their staff, couldn't be more welcoming and friendly. Most of the guests my partner and I spoke to were people who stayed there before. We wouldn't consider anywhere else in Palm Springs.
The place is small, the layout is lush and tropical. The vibe is laid back.
I visited two other resorts on day passes (nudge, nudge, wink, wink). They were great places to play, but I was really happy to wake up at the Triangle.
A really nice breakfast spread too- which is nice if you feel like hanging around the Inn, which we did.

Room Tip: The bigger rooms are worth the extra $$$- it isn't much extra to get a table and sofa.
