Stayed 2nights. Room overlooked gorgeous pool, loud music until 7pm but didn't matter as we were out all day. Very attentive staff at the pool side. Room was spacious, very colourful and bright which we loved. Bathroom was sizeable and had good quality toiletries. Only annoying thing was the light by the door had a motion sensor so every time my boyfriend put his foot out of the bed, the light came on! Slightly irratating. Oh and the air con machine chucks hot air out onto the balcony which makes it very uncomfortable sitting on there. Overall, great value stay in this trendy hotel.

We appreciate the great review! We're happy to hear our staff was attentive, making your time spent poolside that much more enjoyable. When it comes to our motion sensor lights, our plan was for it to be a helpful perk, so we apologize you found it irritating. Overall, we are pleased you and your boyfriend enjoyed your stay. We look forward to having you again!

Warm regards,
Steve Rachmat - General Manager

Was really excited to check out this hotel after it was featured in Conde Nast Traveler's Hot List. Also, we had a great time at the Ace Hotel down the street in Palm Springs last Summer and thought this would have a similar vibe.

However, after checking in and walking into the hotel room, it was a huge disappointment. This hotel has clearly undergone a massive renovation but not one that makes it a boutique hotel even considering staying at. The overwhelming smell of cigarettes in the rooms, the sparse (cheap) decor and the stains on the carpet all over the hotel had me cringing. This hotel is far from hip and borders on just plain disgusting.

We were booked in for two nights and left after the first, forfeiting the second night. Will never return and am bewildered as to hotel this hotel has received such acclaim. Major miss.

Your opening line is the exact impression we don't want to leave on our guests. We're surprised to hear you didn't care for these improvements, as we usually receive compliments on our hotel - it's one of the reasons we were featured in Conde Nast Traveler's Hot List.

Did you notify our team that you were unhappy with your room? Our staff is trained to handle room changes and would've happily moved you within our hotel to make sure you had a great visit. We're disappointed to hear you left after one night because we would have done everything in our power to ensure a great stay, had you let us known about your discomfort. I hope you'll give us a second chance to prove this to you.

Sincerely,
Steve Rachmat- General Manager

I have been wanting to stay at the Saguaro since Conde Nast Traveler called it one of the 100 best new hotels in the world, and it absolutely lived up to that title. It was awesome! The beautiful, bright colors definitely keep you in a good mood, and the balconies overlooking the pool are fantastic. We went over Labor Day weekend, and it was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. The restaurant, Tinto, was excellent, and we loved our room. This hotel is fun, funky, fresh, energetic and a really unique gem in Palm Springs. Highly recommended!

You may need sunglasses to cope with the colour scheme but this is a great hotel to stay. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the facilities were good. A shuttle but is available to take you in to town centre. The pool area is very good with a hot tub. Live music was on the night we stayed which was very entertaining. Will definitely stay there again if in the area.

Room Tip: If light sleeper do not book room overlooking pool on weekend

We always recommend sunglasses, after all, Palm Springs has an average of 354 sunny days a year. We truly appreciate your recommendation here on Tripadvisor! It's great to hear you enjoyed so many of our amenities. We love providing our guests with a memorable stay so we're happy you had a fun night listening to our live music. We look forward to your next visit!

Kind regrads,

The Saguaro has a really neat feel to it. The rooms are well appointed and have some nice touches such as interesting books. The pool area looks great fun but unfortunately it was raining while we were there. Bad luck considering that it only rains there about three times a year.

The two food outlets there also looked good but didn't have a chance to try. Upon check-out we were given two complimentary drinks to take on our travels - another nice touch.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the pool if you are after peace and quiet.

Many thanks for the compliments on our hotel! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share such a great recommendation here on TripAdvisor. It's excellent to hear you appreciate the detail in our rooms and our friendly customer service. We're bummed you were in town one of the few days it rains in Palm Springs, talk about bad timing! We'd love to welcome you back on a sunny day so you can enjoy your stay poolside.

Warm regards,
