This was Moorten's back yard that was made into a botanical garden which is not in very good shape. I think the entry fee is a donation.

Most reviewers have posted, this is a small, quaint botanical garden worth an hour that it takes to visit. That have a fairly wide collection of cacti, loosely organized into regions (e.g. Sonora Desert, Mexico, South Africa, etc). Reasonably kept up grounds, but you do get the sense that there needs to be some serious sprucing up and dead heading. Many of the labels with the names on the cacti are faded and unreadable....get student volunteers to do this as a project for their college applications or a horticulture student looking for an internship. It would add so much to the experience and make it more visually appealing.

Potential for 5 stars, even with their small size, spruce it up and it bring positive reviews and more people! Thanks for the garden walk totally enjoyed it!

Visited here our last day after checking out from the Best Western. The gate is about 100 yards away from the hotel. It was a nice way to spend an hour and see a variety of cactus in one location. Lots of places to sit, lots of shade as well. Enjoyable, easy to walk, no hurry, just nice.

As most reviewers have posted, this is a small, quaint botanical garden worth the 20-30mins it takes to visit. That have a fairly wide collection of cacti, loosely organized into regions (e.g. Sonora Desert, etc). Reasonably kept up grounds, but you do get the sense that they are a little tired, and could use some refreshing. Many of the labels with the names od the cacti are faded and unreadable.

Potential for 5 stars, even with their small size, if they put a bit more effort into it.

Lovely venue without hype. Beautiful photo ops and relaxing self guided tour. Historical registry property a winner.
