Spent a great afternoon here, viewing the planes and exhibits. The veterans who staff the museum are very helpful and informative. Be sure to try the flight simulator program.

Museum has a great collection of aircraft. The planes are roped off so you can touch them and walk under them to get better views. Many of the informational displays are a bit dated looking, but they don't detract much from the planes. For a few dollars you could climb though a vintage bomber.

The displays of the WWII aircraft and weapons is superb. The bookstore is a place that is a must do because the numbers of authors who have provided their perspective on WWII is superb: from women in military aviation, to Tuskegee airmen, to all branches of aviators . . . this is a gem.

This museum can be viewed as you are flying in to Palm Springs, so we drove over there after we landed to check it out. My husband is a private pilot so he eats, drinks and sleeps aviation of any sort. He was like a little boy in a candy store, so for those that enjoy WW II history or aviation, this is the place for you to go while in Palm Springs.

My daughter is an aviation enthusiasts, as we loved this museum. Was not expecting it to be as large or as nice as it was.
